Tis true. Half complain we don't delete enough, half complain we delete too much and the other half complain about our maths.
Its horses for courses really. It'd be a much better system if mods were anonymous and were asked to help through some sort of anonymous thread like thing. Stops all of them getting grief and people having 'personal vendettas' against certain mods no matter what they do.
And since i can't be bothered to read the thread, whats going on?
As long as the new Mod is tolerant of Chocolate fingers, I'm easy.
OLM did a great job previously though, probably setting too high a benchmark for the future mods to follow. He'd be my choice, even if he is a funny bugger at times.

That settles it then. OLM for sure. Might be a good idea to add another....so Chazz or Macca for me since Tuckin doesn't want it.
Oh sure, that's what this board needs, another CTWD member as a Mod. Especially the mouthpiece and chief apologist for them on this forum. Just go the whole way and rename the forum to remove the current pretence. Ironic thing is, if they had their own CTWD forum on their site, it would be as busy as an AGM, so they hijack this place and claim its representative of them. Just remember OLM you'll need to start posting with a pre-message like "Official MOD Post", "This is my own View", "CTWD Posting" or "Stolen from Twitter/FB/Tumbler etc" so we know which face we're seeing.
Can't see the point in adding another mod, the other 2 self serving and biased arseholes will still be here ****ing those of us with our own minds over and protecting their mates, but yeah, if you are gonna add another one, make sure you carry that theme on.
On the other hand, if we DO have to, I'm gonna put my weight behind Erik again like last time. At least he has the courage of his convictions, even if they are a bag of bile. No offence Erik.

I would have no issues with OLM taking it again, did a very fine job the first time.
However i do like the idea of someone fresh and i think Macca would do a good job, and seen as he has the same views as me most of the time its a happy coincidence.

To be perfectly honest, the views of mods shouldn't really be taken into account for the most part. They're not robots and when they post nobody ever thinks its some sort of divine view. They just need to be able to cut through the ****e and try and look at things in perspective.
If OLM is willing to do it he would be my choice.I really don't understand how some posters seem to think being a mod. should bar them from voicing their opinions.I don't recall any of our mods. deleting posts just because they disagreed with the opinions of the poster.
I dont remember any mod including OLM doing anything like deleting posts or using his mod status to force debate a certain way. Its silly to bring the CTWD issue into something that has nothing to do with a name change and everything to do with merging threads when the situation calls for it.
A moderate Mod who doesn't view everything the owners do as being a Negative.

Have to agree with some other posts on here, it should be possible to contact a moderator, but Mods should be able to remain anonymous as only then can you have an opinion about their moderation without pre conceived ideas based on anything they may post as a messageboard user

I put my name forward because I have moderated some very large forums and I also moderate my own. Very familiar with this board software too (VBulletin).
