Die Brasiliene Mannschaft gefaellt dir nicht sehr, wahrlich. Aber hasse ich Deutschland immer. Sie sind zu stolz. Es ist schrecklich.

Sandro seems like he might have been useful, that's for sure.

That thumping couldn't have happened to a nicer side. <devil>

Brazil have cheated and dived in most of their games and but for Neymar, wouldn't have even been in the game against Ze Germans, I thought they'd manage to nick a win somehow so seeing Muller, Kroos, Klose and Co. tear them a new one was a joy to behold.

It's a shame that Pele wasn't there (or the cameras never looked for him) because seeing his face while Brazil got decimated would've been even funnier.

Nemesis thou art an evil b*tch. :)

That aside, Brasil had been riding their luck all tournament.
If only the tournament was the CL, then they had enough Chelsky present to get to the end.

Thanks Scolari for not picking Sandro. Thanks a bit less for only bringing on Pauly once it was too late. Hopefully not too much mental scarring

Meh teams needed token Spurs players in their squads to ensure they progressed further
than the sum of their real collective ability would have. It seems to have worked quite well.

    :D :D

IMHO they are more worried about being shut down by DMCA requests than
anything else (the FIFA n-a-z-i-s are probably far more hostile regarding their footage being copied
    than p-o-r-n companies are) .

He forced one good save, didn't take away his own angle for no good reason, and didn't fail to pass to teammates waiting for a tap in. By the standards of Brazil 7/8/2014, that was Messi-like.

I must admit, I'm slightly suspicious of that result last night. Is anyone really that bad at that tournament? 5-0 down at half-time?
I'm probably just reading too much into it, though. Arsenal got slaughtered 8-2 by Man Utd and they're not relegation fodder, so I suppose it happens.
Poor team selection, missing important players and a somewhat bizarre game plan, which all sounds a bit too familiar for my liking, I'm afraid.

Alex must be sitting there at home watching this all, utterly bewildered.
Dropped by Chelsea for David Luiz, dropped by Brazil for David Luiz and now let go by PSG for... Sideshow Bob.
I've got no ****ing idea what Robinho, Pato and Ronaldinho thought about Fred and Jo being picked ahead of them, either.
Not out-and-out strikers, admittedly, but Fred was lazy, slow and technically poor, whilst Jo was utterly average throughout the tournament.
Is that the best that Brazil have to offer up front nowdays? It's a far cry from Romario, Pele and Fat Ronaldo, isn't it? At least Hulk gave 100%, even if he was ****e.

Overall, the results were impressive. Only Lloris and Vertonghen were on the field for the critical goal that sent their teams out, and you could make a decent case they were their teams' best player in both cases.

But the really heartening thing was what a smoking bomb crater this was for most of our rivals' star players. Suarez? The rest of the Liverpool gang, serving as captain, first mate and much of the crew on the good ship England's Titanic demise. <laugh> Oscar, Willian and Ramirez :emoticon-0137-clapp: , the 'Pool and City Toure once again leading the Ivory Coast to an early exit <applause>, Silva and Cazorla showing why Spain didn't pick them in the past <cheers>, and, best of all, No Zeal becoming the only man in history to be yelled at by his teammates while winning a world cup game 7-0 :emoticon-0140-rofl:. Of course, RVP's been a star, but even that might be a blessing in disguise, considering how long he's had to play and how injury prone he is.

Was it arrogance? Germany have been their usual efficient selves, winning matches without being overly impressive. Brazil have been lauded by all and sundry since the Confed Cup with Neymar pencilled in to ascend to God-like status. So whoever they picked would win the tournament right? I'm sure they had the backing of FIFA as well (a bit of nudge-nudge wink-wink, Finals place is yours my son!). Kick their way through to the semi's but find themselves without their star player. Nevermind, the Germans aren't playing that well and we are playing real Samba football (according to the media and other sycophants). We can even gloss over the loss of Silva as Sideshow Bob is worth £40m so must be good! Just going to be a stroll in the park. Home soil, home crowd, FIFA approved refs, skillful pla...... ****! We're 5-0 down! And still Sideshow Bob is sauntering around the pitch like he doesn't give a ****!
