Thursday, if they allow a bit of time to sort out all the photographs, website stuff, club shop paraphinalia and press releases.
Quite an interesting article, Southampton got so fed up with Adidas' **** service, they've decided to produce their own kits... please log in to view this image http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/...m_network=facebook&utm_post=2848777&utm_tags=
I was actually going to post the same about Southampton, it is a great idea and has to be worth looking at by any club.
I'd like to see the comparison in revenue between having adidas pay you to make the kit but keeping most of the money spent on them, or paying to produce your own kit and keeping all the returns.
They changed it back to red and white vertical stripes cos it's what the fans wanted?! Don't they know you can't let interfering fans make decisions with your club.
Have the sponsor deals been done? Read an email today (only sent today too) from a sports agency offering 'a great last minute opportunity' to sponsor a Premier League football club for their league cup, fa cup and europa cup games shirt. it didn't name the club, but sounds like us?!
Everton have already extended their Chang deal and Tottenham have a new sponsor called AIA apparently, so it must be us. Presumably this will be the fans' fault.
Looking at the Umbro shirts of Everton,Derby,Nantes And Lens I'd be quite happy with what we will be getting if anything like those
I'd never buy that if I were a saints fan. Un branded top like some tacky Donny market rip off, no thanks.
I'd rather have an unbranded one than an Adidas one. Are people really that bothered about sportswear labels?
