Apparently, the British don't like Scottish langoustines, so all the catch goes to Spain, and the Med. All I would ask is give me a chance to buy some at a reasonable price in the UK, similar to what they pay in Spain. I'll make them popular all on my own. :)

Sky, sort of. The British broadcast was on an ad break but they were still on air in Australia.

Ah, OK. What we need is some enthusiastic nerd to have recorded the air time, and to put it on YouTube and get it out there before Google can delete it.

Long rope, I know, but I bet someone's on the case. :)

After some of the silly ****s I've encountered on the trip, such as the couple cussing out a waiter for not having chicken and chips, I'm coming to understand everyone's preconceptions about Britain and food.

Was in a charming Italian café having a nice slice of pizza, when a British couple asked for a sandwich. The waiter didn't speak good English, but finally brought them the nearest he could get made from Italian bread (shock, horror in Italy). They went off into a rant because it wasn't like an English sandwich. Didn't have the brains to understand that they might have done better to eat the Italian food on offer. I am not an adventurous eater myself, but usually find something I like and certainly never complain about only foreign food being available. Makes you wonder why some people travel.

What rude, arrogant morons. From my experiences, foreign food is much nicer than English food.

Part of the experience for me is to try the local cuisine when I am abroad...some I like some I don't .
Also that's why we never go to places Benidorm where they have places like Joes cafe serving belly buster fry ups ...

Except in America where food is better in an average English pub. And I'm not alone in that view.

Not if you go to the right place. In Maine, I had some absolutely delicious lobster which was alive when I ordered! They had a tank of lobsters so when someone ordered one they caught one and cooked it.
