In other news, the Spurs insiders reckon that £4m has been agreed for Dawson and it is imminent. I know we all knew that, but it's nice to hear it getting closer from their end.

I've said it before, and it's probably been said lots of times, but £4m is an absolute bargain for a defender of his quality irrespective of age.

Seems pretty nailed on we want a centre half, another winger and most likely a forward if we can offload a bit. Dawson, Ince and the other names are all good shouts. Maybe some loan deals and late interest when the dust settles in what's left. I ink we need another engine in midfield.
Swings and roundabouts, you win some you lose some. That'll make our overall transfer market expenditure look a little more acceptable to some of those getting their knickers in a twist about whether or not we've been fleeced in some of our earlier dealings!
Dawson would be a fantastic acquisition at 4 mill. If he can stay injury free, which has been a problem for him in the last couple of seasons, he, Curtis, and Chessie would be a brilliant back-3. Dawson like Curtis is a real leader and very strong in the air. Praying this one (and Snodgrass) go through. Thankyou West Brom for taking Lescott!!
