We'd have to be moving a wide lad on, surely? Need a left back and a CM, not another winger!!

There's someone on here stated Bruce might use Brady as a left wing back - that would work. As he has also been injured most of last season there is no harm in adding to the ranks!

I do like that, but i'd rather us start playing 442(ish) If we can get him to play as a very offensive Left back ala Evra, or Baines, it'd be amazing

Big Mac
Rosie O'Donell
CD player
Chesterfield/Andys Brother
Karren Brady
Scottish Sink lair
Samson
The lad we've got that was ours that we could't use but hasn't improved us, but we've overpaid since he was ours but also tottenhams
Roberts NobGash
Shlong
Jellyfish

Great team!!!

Ferguson played Brady at full back a couple of time before he came to city.

Does this mean we're no longer in for Husband? I reckon he would be a really good signing and we could offload a certain big German prozzy (or a mildly antisemitic Frenchman) to Donny in a makeweight deal.

If Brady is deployed as a WB it might hint at Snodgrass playing in a similar role. If SB does sign another CB, namely Dawson, I can't imagine seeing either WB further back than the halfway line unless they're under the cosh. Could be risky against pressing play from teams like Chelsea or Soton.

Does anyone know what Snodgrass' tackle rates are like?

I'm not doubting you or Brucey - but my personal view is that picking 11 players would be better than opting for 10.

Me too.

I don't know.

If you're commenting on Livermore, why use the name Snodgrass <laugh>

Because the question I asked regarding Livermore was comparable to Snodgrass at Norwich.

"If we go down next season, as Norwich have, do you think we'll be collecting a profit as Norwich have with Snodgrass?"

Norwich bought Snodgrass for an alleged £2m two years ago when he was a similar age to what Livermore is now.

Norwich have now been relegated & are selling Snodgrass for a healthy profit.

So if we go down next season, as Norwich have, do you think we'll be collecting a profit as Norwich have with Snodgrass?

The percentage equivalent would mean us selling Livermore for £32m or £14m to gain a similar profit. Both are highly unlikely.

That's wrong, neither Baines nor Snodgrass were amongst the top assists last season. The list goes Gerrard, Suarez, Lambert, Rooney, Silva/Toure/Ozil.

Sorry you need to read the detail - it's number of chances created, not assists <ok>. OPTA stats go beyond pure assists and look at chances which would have been assists had they not been missed and various other ways of measuring chances. And I was talking about 12-13 not last season.

The most important pass is often not the assist, though, a lot of people have been talking about the penultimate pass. Iniesta's through ball makes the goal, not the easy ball along the floor from Pedro for the tap in....

What even is this?

For the second time in a few hours, he's written something that has been misconstrued because he didn't bother writing a couple of words that would have removed all ambiguity.

He wrote: "If we go down next season, as Norwich have, do you think we'll be collecting a profit as Norwich have with Snodgrass?"

What he meant was: "If we go down next season, as Norwich have, do you think we'll be collecting a profit ON LIVERMORE as Norwich have with Snodgrass?"
