Apologies if already discussed [Got to go off to MOT the old red and black thing on the left, in a minute], but I'm with MLT on the subject of Spurs' English players not wanting to play for England at various times. I think Redknapp is being his usual open self, but I should imagine it doesn't just apply to Spurs. Where I differ from MLT is that I'm not shocked in the slightest. The exhibited attitude within the England structure is that they've all seen and done it, and playing for England is a bit of a stroll, to be enjoyed when they fancy. And I reiterate. England players ARE good enough to progress through a tournament, maybe even win it. Certainly to qualify from a group stage. But they play below their potential all the time. Let's face it, you're not going to bust a gut if you have a losing attitude either, so one, you don't play as well as you otherwise could, and two, you cry off when you really don't fancy it. No English player says they want to represent their country, as the pinnacle of their achievement. They want to play Champions league football. It's only when they're asked about playing for England do they slip into the highest honour mode.
So referees aren't allowed to have a laugh with players now? Nothing in that for me. Maybe it was a bit silly given that Bosnia had just been knocked out but they were probably just sharing a joke.
Hopefully that all it was. But it doesn't look good after the dodgy Nigeria friendly and then Dzeko getting a goal wrongly disallowed. You can see why people think it is a lil dodgy. Even if it is just as you say.
Kevin Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari have been dismissed from the Ghana World Cup squad. (Credit to Joe as he mentioned it on another thread).
Has to be a live match apparently. So yeah, poke him with a stick in the middle of a game and you're in.
Hard to say when his next game will be and who he'll be playing for. Really hoping he gets that 2 year ban, and that would probably leave him without a club, and paying Liverpool mad compensation.
I'm putting everything I have on Sarah Michelle Gellar at 1000/1. I don't know why Sarah Michelle Gellar is among the options but I fancy her so she'll do.
My first (and overriding) Sarah Michelle Gellar thoughts are with Cruel Intentions, Buffy barely registers.
Seriously, there is so much bullshit quoted from various Uruguayan's in this article that you would be able to smell it from Australia. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28023882
