You mean when your club reneged on a term in Suarez's contract, and later gloated about it to the media?
The PFA said LFC were in the right, they would probably know a little bit more about the situation than your good self I would assume.

I'm not saying there's a price for Suarez honed in stone what I'm saying is Real made a rod for their own back with the price they paid for Bale, if our owners value Suarez in the same price range as Bale that's what it'll take to get him.
Look at the reported fee man yoo have offered for Luke Shaw and Saints want more, its an inflated market thanks partly to the Bale move, so Real/Barca will have to dig deep or choose other targets.
It's a nice relief knowing that Real's attention isn't on one of our stars for a change, with Barca reportedly interested too, lets see if Liverpool can fight off the potential suitors this time around.
That's because they pinched your only star player...
The bottom line is lads if the fee is right he'll go, but like I said in my first post Barca and/or Real might like to think they get who they want for a fee they decide but the reality is LFC(in this case)are in a position of strength and will dictate any fee.

The PFA believed that Suarez had a "good faith" clause in his contract rather than an out-and-out release clause, and they came to this conclusion in August 2013. John W Henry stated that Suarez did have an out-and-out release clause in March 2014.
If you are in any doubt about what a release clause means, here's a pretty good definition: (A release clause) is a clause in a player’s contract that, subject to qualifying conditions (i.e. a particular transfer window or non-participation in the Champions League), automatically requires a club to accept an offer of a pre-determined contractual amount expressly set out in the contract from the offering club. If the minimum amount stipulated in the contract is triggered by a the purchasing club, the player will be entitled to speak to that club. And, no, that definition wasn't from Wikipedia, but the website of a sports lawyer: http://www.danielgeey.com
Also, Gordon Taylor did not say Liverpool were in the right by any means, as his exact quote was: "If you are going to have a supposed buy-out clause, it should be that - but it is different as it says [that] if there is no qualification for the Champions League and if there is a minimum offer of £40 million, then the parties will get around the table to discuss things. But it does not say the club has to sell." Yet there was no discussion - so, therefore, Liverpool reneged on a clause in Suarez's contract.

You'll get what was agreed as the buyout clause when he signed his new contract.
Wenger found out about the £40m clause through an agent and was told it was a release clause, as we know he offered £40m+£1 and during the "discussion" between Ian Ayre of LFC and his Arsenal counterpart he informed them it wasn't a release clause as they'd been led to believe, Liverpool entered into a "discussion" with Suarez and his representatives to clarify the situation, he was given an improved contract and we moved on.
No buyout clause in the new one tobes, the club wanted totol control of their asset and Luis was happy to agree with his huge payrise guaranteed.

Goofy bites an Italian!
Does that twat never learn!
Barca won't touch him, now. Expect a 20 match international ban, which ought to ensure that Goofy doesn't kick a ball in 'Pool's abortive CL campaign.

Quite funny how Goofy bites him and then feigns injury himself, as if he had been shot in the face. I expect FIFA to bottle it, star player, plays for Liverpool, won`t be surprised if he gets away with it.
I am sure in fine Scouse tradition, it will be somebody else`s fault.
That's because they pinched your only star player...
I've seen it several times - no doubt in my mind that Suarez bit Chiellini. Un-****ing-believable! I suppose the only good news for the Mousers is that nobody will want him now...
