Central america is a very interesting (and awesome) place! What kind of toucan did you see, keel-billed, chestnut mandibled?!

It was a Keel -billed toucan, didn't see the other one unfortunately. Lots of Tanagers, Orependulas, I could go on and on! Spent 3 months in Central America, most of it in Nicaragua (which was great) Honduras (also enjoyed) and Costa Rica, which I didn't enjoy as much.

Ridiculously coloured too,, however I would say that there are much more strange birds in that region of the world, such as the bouncing cock of the rock or the aptly named three-wattled bellbird (guess what it sounds like!).
