Well done ref, if he had sent off Pogba and not Palacios , it would've been a huge injustice....it was either 2 reds or 2 yellows.

I never thought Beckham really should have been sent off for the tiny ankle flick on Simeone - but if he was off, Pogba should have been off. These Hondurans are the worst combination of thugs and drama queens though.

Come on France, stuff these anti-fair play, cynical hatchet men.

In a way, i'm hoping Morgan stays in the safety of the sub's bench, don't want an injury.

That is not a clear goalscoring opportunity. Very harsh dismissal.

Ten-man Honduras having to come from behind offers up an interesting tactical conundrum. Will they try and play?

It was a second yellow. Palacios was nowhere near the ball. Think the ref got it right.

    I didn't see a second yellow.

Edit: Ok maybe it was. Fair enough.

The answer appears to be no. They'll continue with their strategy of trying to kill the French players.

Either way he deserved to go and only gets one game suspension.

It was a Keel -billed toucan, didn't see the other one unfortunately. Lots of Tanagers, Orependulas, I could go on and on! Spent 3 months in Central America, most of it in Nicaragua (which was great) Honduras (also enjoyed) and Costa Rica, which I didn't enjoy as much.

It wasn't a straight red offence. It was definitely a yellow though so a 2nd yellow was the right call.

Had a great view of one of these in Nica, up in some cloud forest, ****ing brilliant bird. It was really quite close, emitted his foghorn, I kid you not my ears where ringing!

The first yellow could easily have been a red.

You can see the similarities to the England friendly, I don't think they changed then either...

Ooh, first use of goal line technology at a World Cup.
