I think we all know all that will be said in the interview is alot of stuff that actually means nothing, Ralph chairman of bullshit.

I am not at all upset Poch has gone if he wasn't backed in the way he felt he needed to be then the decision was almost made for him, the only thing that gripes at me a bit is all the transparancey promises that were made by Ralph and he's decided to be more of a recluse than Plan B. Since the close of season there has been zero communication with the fans, i'm not even a season ticket holder but surely the fans that are deserve much better.

Before PTF kicks off with his usual you know nothing so you can't have an opinion bull **** :p this is the way i see the situation and the club have done nothing to persuade me otherwise.
 
Big fan of Les Reed. A man of his word:

“The first point I’d like to make is that, with regards to Mauricio Pochettino’s contract negotiations, both Mauricio and myself – that (dealing with negotiations) is my role – are very happy with the way we are approaching it at the moment.

“Let’s clear it up because he (Pochettino) gets asked the same question every week. We talk every day. We are talking about everything to do with the future – planning, pre-season planning, the transfer strategy.

“No player will be brought into this club or leave without Mauricio and I discussing it and his agreement. We talk about that on a daily basis. We are planning for the future and for the long-term future.

“We would like to focus on the remaining games of this season and Mauricio has repeatedly said that and therefore we will pick up the details of any contract talks in the summer when the season is over.

“The second point I’d like to make, and I would like to re-emphasise that we’re happy with that; both myself and Mauricio are happy with that so we can focus on the detail of pre-season, transfer-market planning and so on. We’re both comfortable with the situation.

It is odd how Reed said they were talking every day about the future, and both happy with negotiations, meanwhile Pochettino was saying "the board need to tell me their plans", and then he ****ed off. I like Reed as well and he's done a great job for us but that strikes me as highly naive.
 
Lets face the board as it stands are not doing themselves any favours, they have alot to prove in what is goind to be a very difficult few months. They could come out the otherside with us all singing their praises or as i fear might happen we could be calling for there heads. I for one will give them till sept 1st and see where we lie.

i tracked down for my own curiosity poch's first words on the official site when he was appointed. it was very similar to his first statement in charge of spurs, but specifically he mentioned that there was a clear vision for sustained success in the premier league and beyond.

probably waiting for a confirmation of the continuation of that, which was not forthcoming.

(or just stringing us along)

Probably. I'd rather hear him say "Mauricio who? **** that guy, it's his loss not ours," but I don't suppose he will.
