I'm in Mexico at te moment so not been able to read into this fully. How does it work? Do we automatically get assigned a similar seat in the north stand next to the people you're already next to? Sorry if someone has posted this already!

What an incredibly arrogant post. Who are these 'bobble hat's? Your post had no less intention than to create argument and for you to do your usual high-handed dismissal. You have been ideas on whose 'idea it was' - AP and an unknown number of supporters, on here and elsewhere - who then promoted the idea within the boardroom is both academic and unlikely to be made public - why would it? Whose decision it was is uncertain, but we can, perhaps, assume that the owners signed it off.

You had an answer very early, what you didn't have was the opportunity to flex, what you seem to think (your comments serve as testimony) is your superior intellect. You're a sad lad really, aren't you? Off to bed; there's no wonder folk leave these boards when a moderator sets out like this. <doh>

I asked a question because I didn't no the answer. The answer is now a little clearer and doesn't match your version too well.

    Sleep tight. <ok>

The club is evicting you from your seat.

Where you sit is your problem.

No. It looks like groups need to somehow sort themselves out.

They're obviously not doing this on my say-so, nobody at the meeting objected to these plans, nor were there any objections when AP and PD proposed making exactly the same changes at their fan forums.

I would obviously hope that nobody stops going to City simply as a result of having to move seats. As I've mentioned already, I was forced to move six years ago and I was really pissed off about it at the time, but a couple of months after moving, you just get to know the people around you and things go back to normal.

Have always been e3 to e1

I'm not pissed off about moving and I have already sorted our seats out
    In N4.

Many a season back in time I stood behind the goal on bunkers at BP

    Always loved it .

Made sure I was behind the goal at Wembley for the s/f and the final.

The junior tigers love the idea of going in the north stand as there hoping they will find a decent place to hang there flag .

    Not everyone hates the idea.

I just wish it was all the north stand.

    .....

Having someone say die when YOU want is a posative.

I am in Leicester right now....my good friend was told he had under 18 months to live
By his specialists........4 YEARS AGO .

They were wrong......he's going to die when HE WANTS

which hopefully won't be for years yet .

    -----

I think some people just moan for the sake of it ...

    Move

    Give it a chance

And maybe it will work out just fine...

Simply? But anyway, there's quite a few already gone due to this nonsense. As I say, there's little chance of winning the next no to Hull Tigers vote.

    Hang on.

The FA will decide the name change issue.

    Not a fans vote.

And I will still vote no because I prefer Hull City to Hull Tigers

Simply....the fans have been complaining about the lack of atmosphere at the KC. The club have listened and with the backing of Steve Bruce (he's the manager) who also wants home fans behind both goals the club have acted.
The away fans have been moved to the corner, at great expense, and those who sat in the corner have been offered seats behind the goal. What's difficult about that ?

Apart from not really answering the question, and ignoring the way it's caused people to walk away from the club, and others fighting to make best of a poor and unnecessary situation...not much I guess.

You're like a broken record. Do you want the answer to be Mr Allam so we can have some controversy.

I would say it was the idea of the Paul Duffen and Adam Pearson who mentioned it years ago but never got round to it and probably because of the semantics involved. It has since been mentioned almost every year since but we have been quite distracted with on field matters and probably financial restrictions.

Now we are in the position of having money and another season in the premiership which has just been achieved in the Allams big plan to take the club forward.

Now using common sense and the fact that many other clubs put away fans in awkward positions we have decided to do the same because it will create a more hostile atmosphere and put more pressure on the oppositions goalkeeper and defence etc

By having the away fans sat behind the goal we are giving them an a psychological advantage which is ridiculous. It might make no difference but it might lead to and extra 3 points which could be incredibly valuable.

As for the location. We'll it seems like the only logical place to move them to.

Why move e1-e3? Because they are the loudest fans and it makes sense to have the loudest fans behind the goal.

And now it has even come with the backing of Steve Bruce and the players.

So the answer to your question is. It is an evolving idea over seasons and seasons that was likely started by Duffen and Pearson and carried out by Allam.

Some people don't like change and some people constantly strive to find controversy in everything. The move makes complete sense and anyone that walks away over it is incredibly short sighted and needs to look at the bigger picture.

I for one would prefer an atmosphere like Selhurst Park because the current atmosphere at the ground is totally ****. We once won't award for best fans when we were in league one and now you can hear a pin drop sometimes.

You seem to have read an awful lot into this that simply isn't there. If you'd read my earlier reply, you could have saved yourself the effort. I've got a big part of the answer I was after. <ok>

I think the real solution should have been to copy Brighton's seating for the away fans (when they were at the Withdean): put the 400 away fans seats as far away from the pitch as possible with no roof covering and the worst facilities possible.

    Job done.

If anyone who is being made to move and they are in a group phone James Mooney at the club. H is there to help in any way he can. I spoke to him yesterday and he is very genuine and wants to assist anyone he can.

You go into the ticket office if you want to choose your seat. If you send in the form you get a seat from what's left. After the end of this week, all other season ticket holders will have the option of moving to the North Stand I think.
