The original, Henry Priestman. Top singer songwriter from our fair city.
That really is bloody good. The video is a big part of it though, not sure it'd be quite as good with just the music.
It is, if you download it with the audio still in it, because then you get the audio of "City of Culture 2017: Hull" and "It's Curtis Davies! 1-0 Hull" etc.
Just uploaded the mp3 file to my soundcloud folder. no idea how to share it on here but anyone who knows me on facebook can probably pinch it from there if you have a mind to do it...
Oh Wow! One of the best football songs I've ever heard. Can't stop playing it. (Told the missus I wasn't crying, just had something in my eye). Can't wait to hear you all chanting H U LL C I T Y - don't wait for Wembley - try it out tomorrow! God, how I hope we can put all that other **** behind us.
i keep listening to it but the best part for me is curtis davies realising huddlestones through on goal and davies looking then running off when the ball hits the net !! top man he loves playing for us !! best signing for ages !!
It seems this isn't the only City FA Cup song, there's another. Ed Faulkner has written a song called Wembleyphant(to the tune of Nellie The Elephant), it's being recorded by local band Coaves at Fruit next Tuesday and it features Deano(which is a worry). http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...roar-Tigers/story-21012066-detail/story.html?
I was going to say it's better than the dirge Arsenal's Away Boyz come up with, until i saw someone was recording a version of nelly the elephant.
Might be a punk version...
Peeling onions was my excuse. Stone cold brilliant. Sharing it with whoever I can find, through whatever media.
