You couldn't be more wrong, there's more corporates that will vote Yes, than will vote No, so you should be happy about this.

Personally, I think the system in the Premier Club is ****ing ridiculous, but then everything about this ballot is ****ing ridiculous.

The fact that the ballot isn't anonymous has put some corporates in an impossible position, this is from CI - Just to set this straight, I am dead against the Hull Tigers name and would vote against it, if I could! The things is that the company I work for do a hell of a lot of work for Allam Marine, and we have several seats in the corporate area of the ground, which are in our companies name. Now a ballot letter has been emailed out asking me to put on them our season card numbers, company name and address. I simple dearn't risk completing a form and putting No To Hull Tigers in fear of retribution from the Allams and them removing a contract from us. In my opinion this isn't a fair ballot at all, how many more companies or individuals will be in the same situation as myself I wonder?

Shabby as ****.

nice to see you have the courage to stand by your convictions!

Read it again you thick t**t.<doh>

I read it, correct me if I am wrong, but he daren't vote in an open ballot incase he loses a contract.
but as he is soooo against it. He should have the courage the stand up and be counted as someone vehemently against it.
But of course his convictions aren't as strong as his desire for the contract.

Was just gonna type that heh.

Im confused too, is he someone else as well btw?

Jules? Yes, He's pattynchips. He's been asked to pick one name and scrap the other. As it is, he's more liable to lose both for just being a tit.

Oh as long as it'll happen on both sides it evens out!

Ok seriously for a sec, yeah, that does sound a little odd, I'd assumed it was one person one vote. I'm perfectly happy for fans like your son to not have a vote, he might be really mature etc but the age restrictions are for a good reason, and are usually applied in ballots, you have to draw the line somewhere.

Can't say I'm overly happy with the corporate vote thing, but regards the hellfire and retribution being bandied about because its not anonymous, I think that's extremely unlikely and being used to whip up fear.

The vote is what it is, it won't change the FAs mind, that won't change unless its in the FAs own interest, its being used to gauge if the Allams should look to bugger off or to carry on with the crap that comes with owning a football club and in that respect, it will serve its purpose.

Did you lot think I was talking about OLM?
PRICELESS!
that was from CI.
I group all the CTWD people together tho' so I can honestly see how you'd think that.

To be fair fella, they're not all alike on CI, there ARE a couple of decent sorts on there, Essex Gull springs to mind, plus a couple of others. Of course they're subjected to the same type and style of abuse as some of us on here but like us, they bear it bravely and fight the good fight.

Probably the most obvious multiposter I’ve seen on a City forum.

The thing is, you can’t mask illiteracy.

My son doesn't get a vote because his membership is paid for by me, it's nothing to do with his age, he's over 18.

Allam has a track record littered with acts of 'retribution'. This whole name change fiasco for a start. He'd have no hesitation in trying to punish the disobedient ones if he can get away with it.

If the ballot is to determine whether they should **** off or not, then they should have worded it as such. As it is, they've blatantly tried to play on people's misplaced fear of them leaving and turn that into votes of confidence in the name change which he'd have had no chance of getting if worded straight, just so that they can initiate some kind of legal challenge and carry this nonsense on even longer.

If you really believed it was just about whether they stay or not, then you'd be able to explain why it is they've squeezed a second question into it without allowing them to be answerred separately.

I use Jules account when Im on my works laptop, and Patty on my home's desktop.

Not for long.

I have an interview with Hull City's Ehab Allam on tomorrows show. He puts some figures to the potential value of the name change. #hcafc

Might be worth listening out for.

Bit late for all that isn't it.
