I dont follow european football but everyone talked about him being a good finisher who loved playing with a partner and running into through balls...so until december he played on his own and was asked to hold the ball up...I think this pretty much ****ed his confidence cos he is playjng like a minger most weeks
He was certainly a different player last year. He's certainly in a slump now. I also tend to blame the way we played early on for getting him into the slump, but, as I said, the one he missed today was exactly like half the goals he scored for Valencia.
