So how do you view someone saying "If you change the name, I will stop supporting the club"? Isn't that also blackmail?

I'm seem to recall you asking me (and demanding others to) say what we'd do if the name change happened.

So its sweet of you to vote against the name change just for me. I appreciate it, but its not necessary. I'd rather you voted for what you feel is right.

question... will the name change effect season pass sales next season?
if it stops certain people going, do we really want them at the club anyhow?
plastics that support the team "only if they're in the PL" or "only if they're called Hull City"

So if the name changes and I no longer go, I'm a "plastic"?

So people who have been going for decades, since we were ****e, at the bottom of the Football League, you would consider 'plastic'?

Liking your logic. <doh>

There is a difference between a team and a football club. Teams come and go but there's only one Hull City. For you nothing changes if the name changes, for me it does.

You can call me any name you like, it won't change how I feel.

Plastic is supporting a team just because they're in the PL. Supporting Hull City and only Hull City because they're my only team is the complete opposite of being a plastic.

Makes me wonder why certain posters change names and log ins as often as they do.

It's as though some are trying to avoid the scorn their previous reputations earned them.

Surely, those are the exact arguments the one's in favour of changing are saying.

Yeah you can change the name as long as we're in the top division, playing the best teams. Seeing the best footballers come to the KC every week.

Identity means nothing so that I can see Suarez, Rooney & Stevie G every week.

If we're Hull City we'll be relegated back to the bottom division.

Phil Buckingham of the HDM has just tweeted:

@PJBuckingham: FA committee has recommended #hcafc's proposed name change to Hull Tigers should be rejected, reports @pkelso

This is an 'us and them' situation; to believe it isn't is burying your head in the sand. They attack the position and credibility of CTWD and you can only defend your position by being vociferous or silent, either is a you or them situation - they want a name-change, you don't. I have seen enough comment from CTWD members and its officers that disparage the Allam's and the strategy they wish to implement in their business, so this so-called non-personal angle is a myth - it is simply polite and non-aggressive at face-value.

They do not come across as frustrated or challenged. Like you, they maintain their argument of the numbers game; an argument that, if taken on your membership numbers, favours them. Their strategy, in playing the poll card late in the game, is well judged, but they can withhold it for later if the FA act against them.

The Allam's, as has frequently been said, are less interested in the name change than their spat with HCC, so why ignore that in day-to-day activity, when it is core to your FA submission? Is it not possible that the name-change and their lies surrounding it can be dealt with in equal measure? What do you gain by not highlighting their duplicity; after all, you have no credibility in their eyes.

The campaign is not about constantly chipping at the Allams. It is about showing that this one decision is massively flawed. I'm sorry if that doesn't suit your purpose. Perhaps you need to set up a more militant group, because CTWD isn't spoiling for the fight that you favour.

It seems the @FA will reject name application as they're not convinced by the commercial opportunity argument #hcafc

No surprise whatsoever there.
