I suppose it depends if the FA want to appoint an English manager (or British maybe ) which would put Brendan Rogers as favourite. If it's just English managers then there's not a lot of choice - Pardew (well not now), Bruce, Allardyce. Have I missed anyone (not included Sherwood) ? Pardew's - blown it now. Allardyce - too gobby Bruce - likeable, would command respect, no problem with the FA Put your tenner on SB
He's from within the M25 so will always stand a good chance of getting appointed. Martin Allen too on the shortlist.
Apparently Humberside Police have said they will not now be pressing charges. Spokesman said their cameras were then focused on the City bench when the trouble started and have no video evidence of the away manager misbehaving.
Rodgers would surely be the man. Boring **** but he builds teams and they play good football. How many managers have failed to get Liverpool back into title contention?
If I were to pick a Brit it would definitely be Rodgers. The only manager I can think of who got them into contention was Benitez the season they finished 2nd (when we stayed up).
Carroll was to replace Torres, Adam to either finally replace Alonso or more likely replace Meireles, and Downing to presumably replace Maxi Rodriguez. All 3 worse players. Please, don't try to defend spending a combined £55m on Carroll and Downing.
I'm not sure what you're saying. Are you saying Rodgers isn't that good or Daliglish was or something else?
That Luisito's goals have taken Liverpool up a level, and it wasn't Brendan Rogers who signed him. I don't really do LFC, so please don't bore me with all the other signings by King Kenny/ Rogers.
So... because Rodgers didn't sign Suarez, that means he isn't as good a manager? Well I guess Mourinho wasn't that great a manager either, he never signed Lampard or Terry to Chelsea first time around.
