Comparing voting demographic of towns/shires within a country against the demographic of Scotland.
No I'm not. You could draw a line from Bristol to The Wash and below that line it'd be 90% Tory - independence for Wessex, Sussex, Essex, Middlesex and Anglia.
Can we not just draw a line between just south of Gretna and just north of Berwick and that'll do us . You can keep the rest .

The Monarchy is indeed an irrelevance whether in the union or not.
A monetary union (keeping the pound) is beneficial to all. However, I am not in favour of that. If we go independent then our own currency (call it a pound if ye want) is a requirement.
Westminster threatens us that we can't have monetary union. Apparently monetary union is a great thing except with Europe where monetary union is extremely bad
This is where I disagree with you. The Monarchy have **** all to do with anything about anything. They're an historical sideshow act. If an independent Scotland chooses to keep them as decoration I couldny care less. It disny seem to hurt Australia or Canada.
