As you have nothing other than the word of Allam, you seem to be taking a strong stance. I think you'll be Sad Tiger when you realise how gullible you have been. There is an hierarchy of sponsorship pricing and you have discounted all of the key ones, except Stadium name, which is already sorted (I believe). Can you offer an example of a further significant (enough to merit a name-change) sponsorship deal that could be made without upsetting the current ones? It should be easy for you if we are seeing it so wrong.
There are no deals tied to the name change, sponsorship or otherwise, it's complete bollocks to try and sway the gullible.
In your case, it seems to be working.
So, Happy, we flip the coin and instead of it falling on sponsorship, it lands on investment. So come on, tell us what person or business would invest such a significant amount into a minority stake of a Meglomaniac' s empire?
