I hope CTWD actually win in court and then AA will **** off and leave us in the lurch.
then you CTWD can celebrate as we become Lincoln Tigers.

You don't think he'll head for the courts then?

why would he??
he is a business man, he will just take his £80m and **** off home, leaving us to be bought by Lincoln City or Bradford City and moving us to their city cos of our PL status

but hey I'm just a thick as pig **** supporter that isn't as emotional as 1/2 of you CTWD ****s, what do I know??

You think Hull City is worth the £80 million he's put in? Maybe you'd like to explain how he's going to get his money out?

The owners of one football club cannot own another, so we'll not be bought out by Lincoln City or Bradford City. Who would buy the club when it owes £100 million to the current owner? The first question they'd ask is how much of that debt are you going to write off?

I know European leagues, in particular the Premier League, attract more money than those on any other continent, but I noticed something about South American football the other day that I thought could be used as a comparison.

Corinthians, Santos and São Paulo - S. America's answer to Man United, Real Madrid and Milan - supposedly have a collective 'brand worth' of just under £144m - bearing in mind the size of those clubs, and that figure, does anyone really think little old 'Ull can recoup £80m to £100m of debt by changing their name? Football clubs aren't worth as much as people think, and nor, for the most part, are they capable of getting tens of millions in sponsorship.

so you aree saying that AA will just walk away?? cool

AA loaned Hull City the money, he never invested it in it.
the difference being that, with a loan you charge a small interest, in this case 5% - whereas with an investment, you get higher returns but you also run a higher risk of losing your initial investment.
plus with a loan, you expect to get your money back.
It would be a bad businessman that just walked away.
And AA is far from a bad businessman.

So he won't walk away then? Make your mind up!

You mention the high court. In the unlikely event that that happens, it will be Allam and the FA vying for success. I can't see what CTWD will have t do with it, beyond being an interested observer.

Are you so confused? Or just thick?

Thanks. I think OSC members should be pressing for details of their submission to be released, they have a right to know what was said.

I've just heard who's attended, other than Bernard, they're not who I expected would go.

<whistle>.

There was no such agreement with AA, there was just a request to redact a fair bit of what was said and we decided it was not in our(or the clubs) best interests to publish them in full, or to publish them with the requested redaction's.

Bernard Noble's in AA's pocket, we are most definitely not.

<doh>.

If you want to know if we were offered something that was omitted from the minutes why not ask the OSC? They also attended the meeting.

<ok>.

AA offered us several things at the meeting, a detailed business proposal before any name change, a season ticket holder vote before any name change etc, unfortunately, it seems he changed his mind the minute we walked out of the room.

I don't believe the OSC have been offered anything, threatened with things, but not offered anything.

:emoticon-0112-wonde .

Just so I'm clear in my mind, how do people know some parts of the meeting haven't been published?

Surely, if someone was trying to hide bits, it would have been easier to publish edited minutes and claim it was the full discussion?

Ask Obadiah, it seems the OSC would tell you they were inaccurate.

The hilarious thing is he doesn't actually realise how stupid half the stuff he posts is, even when it's pointed out and explained to him.

"What's to stop Lincoln or Bradford buying us?"

Well apart from them not having a spare £80m, and the rules preventing multi club ownership, nothing Patty!

On the contrary. I'm just saying if you don't believe OLM or me ask the OSC whether we were offered something extra to keep us quiet. They also attended the meeting.
