Just submitted my Final Year Project Literaure Review. Hoping TurnItIn doesn't pick up any similarity with any other work <yikes>

Aww, good luck! I remember the days of worrying whether by pure coincidence, TurnItIn would flag it up as plagerised even though I've never copied any other work, but what if by chance I just happened to write it the same as something I've not even read? Though I'd imagine even if there is some similarity in certain bits, your uni would use some discretion and only flag it up if there's large chunks which are almost identical.

There has been discussion on the radio today about the proposal that children of all ages should be in school from 9 until 6 each day and have 7 weeks holiday.

I would suggest that teenagers should not have to go to school until midday and would have to stay until 9.

I would recommend that this 9 -6 day is also be applied Universities and all work places.

Just think about the improvement it would bring about in productivity.

I am really pleased that I lived in a time when my parents saw me as a key part of their lives rather than like today when many parents see their children as a hindrance to their selfish materialism and career progression.

If you can't be arsed to take responsibility for your kids then don't have them.

Oh yeah, had Saturday school too.

Though I do agree with some of what Godders is saying. 19:30 might be a bit excessive, but surely finishing at 15:00 is a bit silly. Could at least extend it to 16:00 or later.

I worked all week and went to College three nights. That's how you got your HNC in those days.

An HNC then would probably be equivalent to a PhD today and a pass at 11+ probably comparable to an A* at A level now.

I worked 27 hours a day , then went to school and I paid them .

Tell the children of today and they'd never believe me ...........
