Actually feel a little sorry for Tim Sherwood. Quite a likeable bloke.

Still, on the whole, an amusing result <ok>

Can you read?, he never played in the 1st 5 games of the season and we were top of the league in his absence, I never said we were a great team I said that the rest of the players scoring 35 goals in just over half a season was pretty great.

We have done far better without Suarez due to his ban than Spurs did without Bale during the same time, we are definitely a better outfit than you're prepared to admit.<laugh>

So, the 23 goals that Suarez has scored in 18 PL games has absolutely no bearing on your current league position then?? ...<doh>

Liverpool are only 6 points ahead of Utd. By all accounts, Utd are woeful and would be lucky to gain re-election to the football league if we still had it. So, by comparison, how good would a Suarez-less Liverpool be? :emoticon-0131-angel

If Goofy were to leave tomorrow, no way would 'Pool finish higher than 7th, at best.

I think most honest Mousers would readily agree and admit that 'Pool is punching well above its weight, this season.

No.

We play some quality football and have top to world class players in forward positions.

The players are in it together and fighting for each other.

Our form in the final third of last year was also excellent.

You lot are underperforming not the other way round.

A better question would be who gives a **** and what's that got to do with Spurs?

Nope, I'd say our forwards are playing to their considerable ability, our midfield has been in development and our defence disrupted by constant injury to even our new recruits.

So we've scored more than anyone second only to City and conceded more than the rest of the top 7 (except you lot).

4th at the moment is exactly the right place for us.

With plenty of room for improvement both internally and with possible additions. Of course it's always possible to have a dip in form.

The fact that despite big spending by you and United (in different ways) you haven't performed as pundits expected isn't our fault.

We can only beat who's put in front of us and we appear to be doing it more regularly than either of you. That's not punching above our weight.

I'd like to counter that argument with if your best player left you'd struggle too

Only problem is im really struggling of thinking of someone who is actually doing well for you

Oh well at least you didnt waste the Bale money, obv according to opposition fans it was all very well spent <ok>

The Arsenal v Liverpool FA Cup 5th round match has been rescheduled for TV and moved to the Sunday, cutting down the Goons' recovery time before they play Bayern. Good. <ok>
