Are we sure we can say that about Nicola? He has been utilising the media very well for the last couple of years and it seems leaking details by copying in on emails to the BBC journo. He's been doing his own Alistair Campbell PR spin. Wouldn't surprise me if he (or his reps) are the ones responsible for feeding this Wang story to the press. whether it is true or not is a different matter. It could well be him trying to 'test the waters'.

I still hope KL keeps us.

That's the first I've heard of this. Where's the information that he's been leaking emails and spinning come from? Apologies if it's been mentioned before but I've not been reading every thread on Cortese.

It was mentioned on another thread somewhere that Ben Smith had been copied into Cortese's e-mails. Would explain how he got his scoops up so quickly. It may not be true of course but it doesn't surprise me. Cortese plays politics very well.
 
I presume some of you are squinting your eyes and/or pulling them slant ways with your fingers when typing your "jokes" ?

Lord help us if we were linked to a consortium from India or Pakistan.

I can't speak for everyone but ethnicity isn't a factor for me. If a name is funny then it's funny regardless of where the person is from. I'd also be amused if the American politician Randy Baumgardner was rumoured to be buying the club.

Apparently KL is in a Winchester hotel with 3 other guys. One is a Swiss banker and another is a tax specialist.
