Saylor clears.

Saylor and Willo coped better than I expected yesterday. OK, so City's strikers scored two goals, but mainly due to the good build up play that Saylor & Willo couldn't do much about. Overall, I thought they stood up to it pretty well.

Yanga yes but what a pathetic comment, what about the persistent fouling of Zabaleta after he got booked. Also your players bullying and intimidating officials to get the goal disallowed was shocking.

Also, if the likes of Cabs should have gone, then in my opinion same for Toure. But it was neither, so who cares? This happens in football. We've had good luck in games and back luck in games. All teams do. All part of the game we love. Frustrating when it goes against you and great when it goes for you.

Willo's improved hand over fist this season, he's been as solid as a rock.

Agreed, but I put a lot of that down to him having a regular place alongside Colo, who is better positionally and good at cutting out passes, etcDidn't think he'd play so well alongside Saylor, who is more the kind to throw himself around - sometimes a bit blindly. Both played well I thought.

Saylor didn't do his chicken dance yesterday, he went up to Hart the one time but I think Hart made it clear that he didn't want to join in with the game and Saylor just laughed and walked away.

So true I noticed Pelligrini failed mention Toure's 2 or 3 deliberate kicks at Tiote that went unpunished in retaliation for an earlier trip. As you say that's football. You get some decisions, you don't get others, and then you get the odd howler like the offside. That's football. All this "we should use video evidence for everything, we're miles behind other sports" is horseshit. Yes it should have come in ages ago for balls crossing the line but I'm against getting carried away with it. To me its just something that gets screamed when you get a few bad ones against you.

Also agree that Willo and Saylor performed admirably yesterday. That was more like Saylor on form. He is still a good option to have around. I still think he has to curb his enthusiasm and may struggle to do it here, but it was a good performance. They couldn't do much about the first one when Gouf switched off and the 2nd was just us getting kamikaze. Mention for Krul too, great save 2nd half and was unlucky on Negredos.

If thats what you call bullying you must be a very frightened rabbit!
As for Zab, thats called tackling, unlike that dirty **** on Nasri.

Wow, 7 players charging an official down isn't bullying an official, if Fergie did that you guys would be crying blue murder over it, remember Man Utd getting charged for failing to control their players for similar behavior at Newcastle a few years back, if you knew our players you would know that was exactly what I was referring to. Seen Nasri get away with worse when playing for Arsenal on Joey Barton. Zabaleta no different to what your saying was a red <doh>.

I'm sure Ben Arfa would love to join this debate... remember when that malicious thug De Jong tried to end his career.. as well as repeating his thuggery at the World Cup?
Glass house and stones.

Now stop bleating and show the grace some of the other Citeh fans have on here.

They were appealing, not "charging" the official, as is their right.
Not heard anyone bar you lot talking about Zab, as you are making it up to justify your thugs

OK. Have the goal. You lost 2-1!

Couldn't ever forget it, and it happened right in front of the ref who did nothing about it. Should have been a straight red and a long ban. At least as long as HBA was out.

Right, what was a good match thread has degenerated into a petty squabble.

The game is over, the decisions made and we've moved on. Time to close this thread.

Bye, bye bullet.

I'm glad Nasri is injured and I wish it was for the season...if that makes me a bad person then so be it.

But City invented a song about De Jong's horror lunge on Ben Arfa that broke his leg so I can't be any worse than them. I only wish Nasri had suffered the same injury and missed the world cup.
