God, that gets worse every time you see it.
If it helps (probably doesn't), Mike Jones has probably been in the ref's relegation zone for a little while now, so that could be it for him.
No conspiracy theory, just a crap call.

Blue Square Premier should be his next port of call after that performance today.
On a side note - Pellegrini really doesn't understand the offside rule at all.

Newcastle 0 Arsenal 1
West Brom 1 Newcastle 0
Newcastle 1 Cardiff 2
Newcastle 0 Man City 2

Does anyone spot a trend here

Oooooh, now you mention it Fredor, yes, I do see a trend. It's...

... A CONSPIRACY!

Woah there. Sorry everyone. Not sure what happened. Think I've been reading too many Mackem posts lately. ;)

I'm still reeling in shock...

We went 1-0 down inside ten minutes and didn't end up conceding a hatful <yikes>

<laugh> So much for our getting smashed predictions. We were deserving of at least a draw.

Obviously we've got a shocker of decision which is difficult to even understand, but I think like Tiote said, we just have to take it on the chin and move on. You get bad and terrible decisions go against and for you in football. That's the nature of the beast and there is little point pissing and moaning about it. The great thing is Pards got us up for a really big game, you could sense it before hand, and we outplayed, for long periods, a fantastic team which has been in scintilating form. I'd put that right up there performance wise this season. Not only that Toure did not ravage us for once and was fairly quiet. Fair play to City, they were not allowed to be at their best and still came away with a win, mark of a good side. Helping hand or not, they still defended very well.

We must get a striker though and get Loic back out wide. He is not in the game anymore. Yeah he had a couple of chances but he is so much better coming from deep.

I thought he was unlucky to come off like ..he done well ..

what puzzled me about this game they had silva down as playing wide ..I knew he wouldn't play wide ..he kept playing central ..pardew should of seen this coming ( when does silva really play wide ).. maybe it would of stopped the first goal .

anita got done and gouffran got caught ..

He was but to be fair I think we wer elooking less threatening at that stage and our main threat was coming from dead balls, getting forward and then picking up scraps on the edge of the box. Pards probably felt Cabaye was more likely to ping one in and more likely if we got a free kick in shooting range. I think he was just trying to keep as much goal threat on the pitch as possible. He could have taken Tiote off I suppose. Gouff's switch off was painful to watch, as you know what you get with Kolarov. At least he and the team bounced back this time instead of folding like a pack of cards.

Not much mention of the 2 players Newcastle should have sent off on here.

Yes there is - you just haven't bothered to read the full thread. Like a lazy journo.

Many of us said we were lucky to keep ten on the pitch. Cabs and MYM could easily have gone. Ref was poor, but that doesn't mean City didn't deserve to win.

Move on!

Lazy boy. Of course we were lucky to keep 10 on the pitch. Cabs could have went on another day, and Mbiwa should have. Then again its a different game at 1-1 and maybe they don't get so frustrated? All ifs and buts. Citeh won, we got a rank awful decision, no big deal, **** happens.
