All grafted together nicely in the end. The best series on TV, could have done with another episode or 2.
The Bridge is class, as was The Killing, certainly both top 5 for me, but not better than Sherlock.
It's all opinion though.
No, it's a Scandinavian crime drama, on BBC Four.
Yep, that's the very one, rewritten several times including The Tunnel.
The Bridge? Is that the one rewritten several times, including the recent version called The Tunnel? If so, yes, excellent.
Yeah but series 2 of the original Scandi one on BBC 4 sat nights.
Missed that. I'll watch it from this point on and try to catch it next time around.

Good luck with that.
Four episodes in six to go.
THEORY - I know this isn't Doyle's books.
Moriarty is still dead IMO. On the screens it was only a picture that had been modified ala Soccer Am.
However, maybe Jim Moriarty is a puppet for someone else? Similar to how Jim acted in The Great Game.
So 'Moriarty' isn't the guy we know him as.
Just a thought.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but "His Last Bow" was the last short story written about Sherlock? With that episode being "The Last Vow" I assume Season 4 will be all original material?
This return is in Doyle's books - Moriarty 'returns' but it turns out to be his brother.
It will be Moriarty though. Andrew Scott is a fantastic Moriarty and having someone else will be a cop out, especially with a tease like that.

I think bringing Moriarty's character was a bit of a cop out. He shot himself in the mouth. He died, there can't be a reasonable method for him to survive that.
Probably not, they've only touched a fraction of the source material.
Even though it was called 'His Last Vow' after his final book, the story took more from 'The Return of Sherlock Holmes' and 'The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton'.
He fired a blank?
Yes, there are recorded deaths by blank bullets, but you can survive depending on the gun, the cartridge, etc.
Besides, from the moment he shot, we never saw his body. Even Sherlock didn't look back at him. We never really find out what happened to him.
)Why can't Sherlock be on it?
