Good servant, who did well and always put up a shift, but unfortunately football is like anything else and everyone has a point where it's time to move on, sadly this is the case with Gutierrez.
With the Hughton link, and the fact us and QPR are the only clubs linked, I suspect he might be joining us. Thoughts on him? Judging by stats he doesn't score or assist a lot of goals, so what does he bring to the team? How comfortable in possession is he? Get the feeling from this thread that he's a hard worker who you think it's the right time to move on?

Hi HD. Jonas is a very loyal servant, extremely hard working and puts his body on the line.
Once or twice a month he might have you on your feet with a mazy run that beats three defenders. And maybe once or twice a season, one of those runs might just result in a fantastic goal - while the other attempts hit Row Z. And that's his main problem. Consistency and end product. If he had a little more composure after he's done the hard work of beating defenders, he'd be fantastic. But so often his crosses and shots are wayward.
This combination of great effort vs poor end product has divided Toon fans over him - like marmite.
The other thing now is whether his legs can still take the work rate that his game thrives on. For me, he is now too slow and spends too much time tumbling over.
He's a great squad player and seems to be great to have the dressing room as a character. But if you're relying on him to be in the first team week-in week-out then I think it means you have problems (like we did last season when he was a first team regular).
Hope that helps. And good luck to Norwich. Would like your boys (and Chrissy) to stay up.![]()

You don't make himself sound what we need at all. We have plenty of players like what you are describing I.e endeavour but very little end product, which is our problem. If anything he is coming here as cover for injuries and that Hughton may rate him, which worries me even more!
When you are up against it he is ya man a real battler, good experience for the likes of Redmond.
A decent squad player with something different plus he will be keen to shine
As the World Cup is around the corner

Fantastic workrate, capable of some lovely runs on his day and his short passing was decent but he'd probably agree himself he needs to drop down a level if he wants to play.
He really adopted the spirit of the club, I remember him going to the International Stadium to see the U21s play with Colo, he cared.
Thanks for the effort and loyalty you put in and best of luck in the future.![]()
you seem to have gained yourself 785,000 rep points mate... bravo!

Haha thanks lads!
How does the new system work like?

well whilst you have been away we've all basically gone rep daft and many have hit the limit which is 21474864 (a system thing to do with coding)... it's obscene really and IU never could understand why people bother about rep![]()
and what are these 3 billion 'points' you have?
