Some of the **** I hear at the games is incredible, it's like a massive section want us to fail so they have summat to complain about.

Maybe it's up to the more positive element to get in their faces & tell them to shut the **** up, I know I've personally went at people at the match for their negative ****e.

I think you actually have to do this to shut the miserable, whinging kernts up. Or tell them to fook off.

I sit in a heavily season-carded area, & for the most part the lads around me are sound, I often find it's the 'occasional' fan that's the worst, and as a club we have a lot of these.

You can take things many ways, but there's nearly always a positive.

I'm not suggesting happy clapping, there are times when we have been utterly abstract ****e & then you can kinda understand it, but negative input from 'support' can never, ever benefit a sports team in a game where confidence & feeling comfortable is a massive factor.

Spot on Vegas about the crowds, in a way, I feel closing the third tier should be considered, lower costs to the club, policing, energy & staffing, and a better atmosphere for the lads.[/QUOTE]

...and again, I agree. I'd rather a tighter ground that generates noise and atmosphere than one that does not. I'd be more excited about coming back for home games, which are rare, and prefer going away as it's much better craic.

Its just that bunch of kn*bs , 10 minutes in ,who start on their pet hate 1st start ball. You see the team think fu*k it. It boils my pi*s when our ex players are on TV saying its a great place when we are winning but terrible if we aint winning in 20 mins, pleas lets chin any Fuc**r who does it from now on.

At the Man U semi I could not believe the guy behind me, there was not a single Sunderland player on the park who played well.

Brown saw to slow
Johno never passed
Bardo didn't put in a tackle
Ki could pass water

But some how we won!

A few of my pals are front of Premier Concourse in the middle, they were season ticket holders in the Clockstand Centre, and got 1st pick up there and have been there for nearly 15 year now. Would p*ss them off closing it. Maybe the family thing should be 1st 10 Rows around the whole Stadium, cheap as chips,
fill the place. Who knows but its the fact its priced wrong as much as anything that it isn't full.
The prices at Sunderland are pretty competitive to be honest..However, I would like to see cheap season tickets for kids in all areas of the ground..

You sure though mate, cos if they've been there since the stadium was built, they'd have been sat on the roof for 3 years.
The West Stand Upper was there from the start wasn't it? I t was the North Stand Upper which came later..

Yep, that's right fella.

We've been playing a lot better away from home.. not a coincidence

Why people buy a ticket and just spend all of it moaning is ****ing beyond me

We'd be better off with a gate of 30k fans getting behind the lads than having a 40k gate with twats mixed in

You can tell by some of the tossers on here that some people just love whinging ........... SAFC won't be their only target.

Morning Smug, don't be telling our Bobby you is sitting eating your Eggs Benedict and Croissants looking out over the Med mind, he"ll choke on his Aldi Weetabix he will ! :)

Feels good today don't it .

I have often thought that the people who go to games and do nowt but whinge and moan at the players, are using games as some kind of therapy after suffering being henpecked at home..

Agree fella. Same for those who do the same on message boards.

What staggers me as some folk on message boards behave exactly the same as those who do it in the ground, but they will alway deny behaving that way in the ground. Hard to believe me thinks.

Where do you sit Bonny? lol

What you say or post on here has nack all with the support, a) by being there and b) shouting you head off at the SoL.

TBH with our narrow escape last season and poor start this season, of course we were/are favourites to go down. One man and his team of assistants have turned it around and for all those like me who were getting very gloomy with the prospect of relegation looming have had (ignoring Vile and Norwich) hope rekindled.

Johnson has started to play we now need Fletcher to do like wise and a couple of quality players brought in.
