http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...allot-season/story-20098583-detail/story.html http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...allot-season/story-20098583-detail/story.html I may be getting on your tits with this but where is ballot mentioned 19/11/2013 "The City Till We Die campaign group (CTWD) writes to you today to request that you work with us to consult a broad range of Hull City fans on your name change proposals. Our proposal is that we will work with you and your public relations team to develop a simple consultation paper for distribution to supporters. The paper will be split into three sections: your justification for the name change (which we hope you will write personally to give it importance and authenticity); CTWD’s justification for why we think keeping the name Hull City is important; and a section for supporters to answer a simple two-choice question about the club’s playing name. The CTWD group can produce artwork and copies of the agreed consultation paper. And if it is agreeable to you, we can collate and analyse the responses. All we ask in return is for you to use existing communication channels with the Club’s season ticket holders to distribute the form, either in hard copy or electronically. By using existing channels, there should be no Data Protection issues. The Premier League and Football Association suggest that consultation with fans is needed before a club considers changing its playing name. This consultation hasn’t happened yet at Hull City and you committed to consultation when we met you recently. We now wish to work with you to make this consultation happen as soon as possible."
Doesn't that relate to our letter after Assem Allam had rejected the idea of the ballot and had his "nobody tells me how to run my business" interviews? Calling for co-operation on running a joint consultation seemed reasonable at the time and still does.
Happy, you alone are one of the biggest things wrong with this board. Your original post was this: This is a typical, petty, piss-taking Happy Tiger post. Desperate, as always, to try and pour scorn on CTWD. You always try and hide behind this bullshit about 'discussion'. It's not discussion. It's you being a total **** and saying stuff you would never say to the face of anyone in CTWD and in fact I doubt you'd say it in person to anyone at all because you know full well you'd just be laughed at. Much of it is complete fabrication that you threw in there to suit your agenda of blind hatred for CTWD. It's always the same with you, you post some nonsense dig like the above, usually at CTWD, you always get pulled up on it and I've never once seen you defend it or stand by your comments, you always just go quiet for a few days or stick to other topics, then after a few days you turn up again spouting the same old **** and the cycle continues. You're a ****ing coward; happy to make your accusations and never back them up. That's exactly what it is. Nick Thompson knows full well that the name change is a stupid idea, he's happy to be leaving the club as a result of it and he's told me as much in person. Under Allam we're making huge losses. Our income is way less than other comparable clubs. We can't own the stadium due to him and him alone. We nearly sign players and then **** about with the terms at the last minute, causing us to miss out on the player. He wants out of the club altogether yet he's still pursuing with this name change nonsense just to make sure he gets his own way and 'wins' before he does go. Andy Dawson ended up owing the club £30,000 for the privilege of having his own testimonial game. We must be the first club ever to make a profit out of a player's testimonial and leave the player and charity out of pocket, despite Allam being a supposed trustee of the charity in question. He's a loon and he's doing far more harm than good. Once again: you're talking ****. Do you go to games? Everyone sings CTID at away games. At home games the entire East stand sing it and the West and South sometimes join in too. I sit in the West and it's the only song I've ever heard sung by the West stand at a game, and only since the name change was announced. Not only do CTWD represent a majority, but it's an almost unanimous majority. There must be no more than about 50 people in total who support the name change. There's going to be yet more polls conducted next week, and like all the others that have gone before them they'll show a huge majority in favour of our proper name. But you'll no doubt ignore it and post **** like this time and time again, just as you have done with the umpteen that have gone before it.
You clearly don't go to games if you think everyone sings anything at all. I've had perfectly reasonable discussions at games, so you're wrong there. Obviously not with you, but that's not surprising. I can't be arsed responding to yet another of your diatribes, I do notice however you have no explanation for how come so few people can be actually arsed with spending 2 quid to join a campaign you claim has overwhelming support. Why's that I wonder?
You know full well that 1800 (or whatever the latest figure is) isn't a small amount. You try to push this bullshit about it being a disappointing amount but you know it isn't. You're nowhere near as stupid as you pretend to be just to maintain your rigid stance. They've got more than the OSC now ffs. How many do you want? You mentioned 10,000+ earlier in this thread. If they had that many you'd try and claim that it's still a minority. People quite simply don't sign up for things and you know it. Why does this board not have 25,000 City fans on it? That'd be an equally stupid question wouldn't it? If you want to know people's opinions you don't ask them to pay money, you do a poll. There's been loads of polls and none of them support a name change. That is a cold hard fact that ****s all over your constant lies about CTWD being a minority. If you want to focus on CTWD members the only way to analyse that is to compare it directly to how many have signed up to Hull Tigers TWD and that's none. ****ing 0. That group doesn't exist. There's just a handful of people on here who crave attention and are a bit jealous of fans who are more 'involved' than they are that support the name change.
Did he? Did he really? Prove it. CTWD didnt put that on the press release they put consultation with the fans. If he'd agreed to a ballot of season pass holders you would have screamed it from the rooftops.
Based on the polls already conducted, do you think that the majority of Hull City fans would prefer to be called Hull City or Hull Tigers? Based on the evidence supplied do you think that a change of name to Hull Tigers would have a positive, nil, or detrimental effect on club finances?
It isn't a decent discussion at all it's you and Happy talking **** trying to criticise CTWD where there's no reason to do so. You know full well Allam refused to let those minutes be released without his own amendments and you're desperately clinging on to this to try and make out CTWD were dishonest. Allam is the only liar involved, everyone knows it but one or two of you just can't bear to accept it. Do you think I should have just left Happy's lies unchallenged? Is it okay to spout **** if it's anti-CTWD because you don't like them but not for me to question that? Typical double standards Chazz again. Calling me a **** again but when I called Allam one you said I was going too far. See.
No I didnt know that, did anyone else?? My understanding was they wouldnt go to a meeting with an NDA. Where is this from?
It's from the fact that everyone at the meeting reported it. No one really thinks they're all lying surely? You know it wasn't just CTWD at the meeting don't you? An NDA wasn't signed. That's another fact.
It would appear that he never agreed to a ballot at any stage of CTWD's communications with him; it would seem you are confusing ballot and consultation as being mutually inclusive and that is extremely misleading; but easily remedied - see my post on minutes from joint meeting. It makes far more sense to do it, than not to do it; unless there is something else we are all confused about?
Exactly Fez. My guess is some of the attendee's agreed, nodded, approved when Allam said if he can show a benefit to a name change. Its only a guess mind. I think the minutes are more harmful to CTWD's position than Allams. That can be the only reason not to release them.
Part of me wishes the minutes could be released just to put this nonsense to bed, but the same people would find something else to be 'suspicious' about anyway so it'd make little difference.
