Just wondering what people think now, of the sale of Sessegnon.

Obviously you all know I adored the bloke to the point of Tom Daleyism, but many constantly slated & mocked the lad, said he was a luxury, a showboater, or plain & simply a waste of space.

My feeling is that having him in there with Ki we'd be doing a lot more, I understand the decision to sell him was Di Canio's, I do wonder what ****ing idiot at the club gave that the green light.

I'm all positive today like, but I did watch us today against 10 & think a player like Sess could have made the second half a bit more comfortable.

    Any thoughts?

there is a rumour circulating that he might be coming back, dont really want him tbh, dont think we need him, cracking player on his day but a total headache, so for me i'm pleased with the business we did in retrospect

    Any thoughts?

Yes, sick of hearing about him tbh.

He started twisting about being homesick the minute he got here and every window was a ****ing shambles ............ just **** off Sess eh?

i wonder...and 'on paper' he's exactly what we're missing in the hole but he just blows hot and cold too often.

i have no idea who we could get. that's what i'm wondering, as Gus clearly has his targets lined up.

He never actually twisted about being homesick though did he? It was all bollocks.

He was linked with moves every window for the simple fact he was the best player in a poor side, but hey, he always divided opinion.

I fail to see how anyone can suggest he wouldn't enhance the current midfield, but he was the 'new Kenwyne' & never stood a chance with many, who, before you start, I respect your opinion.

I did hope Giacc would do a similar job, if a little less eye catching, in fact, I still have faith that he will, but it can't be denied that we could do with a man who can run at people and occupy 2 defenders at a time, whether that be Sess, or anyone similar.

So, anyone any realistic suggestions of 'flair' players we could attract?

I don't see how that would be too difficult mate, he could replace anyone but Ki & produce more.

    Fletch
    Borini- Sess -AJ
    Catts-Ki

    Maybe?

I dunno, not suggesting we sign him back, just wondered if any had maybe seen value in him in retrospect, akin to the 'Jones was abstract ****' despite a goal in 3, and being our best defender of corners. not trying to be controversial here or owt.

Because he's not here and he'll never come back, that's why.

I loved the bloke when he could be arsed but I got sick of his continual twisting on the pitch.

Sorry, no offence .......... in that case, I think he was a waster who left Sunderland for the bright lights of West Brom.

I'd like to see some of Mavrias, that entire game for Pana v Olimpiacos was so impressive, and that's a massive fixture.

I dare say he's weak as piss, and we are working on that, but we need someone to run at oppo and pull them out of place, then we get space, and probably score a few.

Bridcutt is a tidy player, but he's another stable player, a Ki type, I'm not sure what we'd gain from that signing, maybe it's a mentality thing, we all know we lack in that area.

I know nowt of young Poyet to be honest mate, but if he's owt like his old man I won't say no.

I'd like to see us show some ambition & go for some flair, someone like Alessio Cerci, who we were after in summer, plays for Torino, who are perenially almost bankrupt, left sided, skill to burn, mugs defenders for full, and is scoring ****loads this season.

Would cost £10 million plus like.....
