I've not seen Manny on here, I bet he nearly had a heart attack (or wet himself) when he thought Schumacher would get a podium!
Manny must be ecstatic at schumi's driving yet destraught by losing the podium. Schumacher finally looked the same person as the version from 5 years ago.
My congratulations to Manny, who I hope is out celebrating somewhere: I hope you feel OK in the morning! That was a good performance from Schumacher, further complimented by a poor showing from Rosberg.
He's out-performed Rosberg in the last 3 races and shown that he actually deserves to be on the grid on merit rather than history.
Nico was smacked on the backside by Sutil. But yet no excuses for Nico, he should of performed better.
But still....nothing!?! He must have gone out drinking, and is probably swinging from a lamp-post somewhere.
Just had to sleep off a massive headache guys, I am sad but happy at the same time, thanks for the celebrations, when you believe so hard the something may happen it nearly does. This was Michael's time to shine but unfortunately the Mercedes is realistically slower than the RB and Mclaren, at one point I thought he was going to win! After his pit stop and strategy failure when he pitted for inters too early I thought his race was over, but he came back, to my surprise and to many of yours. It shows he is not just there because of his experience but because of talent, he deserved a podium, but this is F1 and it is a harsh sport. Where other drivers fell to the elements, drivers such as WEB-VET-BUT- and Michael Schumacher stood up and said- ... "let's go racing!".
I'll eat humble pie today. MSC drove a great race - but I still want him to retire( again). Yes- Manny it is REALLY me saying that.
Well your excuse can't be his lack of speed, because that's what moved him into 2nd in the race, so it could be something else.
In a sense this was due to come. Manny has stuck by him with all the lol's and bitching from the media and it looked to be Schumacher could of won this race if he was in a better car. Yes the DRS and Mercedes engine was an advantage in the straights, but in places where it couldn't be used Schumacher was hussling nearly everybody except Seb who really is on form atm. Give the man some rep loving
Yesterday was a thinking drivers race, that's why the likes of Button and Schumi thrived, and Schumi was at his best yesterday which was great to see. Was annoyed to see Webber pinch the podium off him, not a fan and he made heavy work of getting past even with a far superior car.
