Sounds mad but I wouldn't feel comfortable winning millions. I'd get anxious over what I spend it on, I'd feel like I didn't deserve it and feel greedy, especially as if I didn't give most of it to charity executives, I mean charities!, I'd be frowned upon. I'd want to achieve something and have a normal(ish) life, but I could use the money to travel the world!

Well, everyone would react differently I think. In all honesty, I don't think I'd go nuts and spend loads, that's just not me. I'd probably buy a new laptop, a few PS3 games, go on a cruise, buy a couple of albums and go back to uni and do a degree in something random. No point in buying a fast car or a swimming pool or a big house really. I'd like to give some money to charity, but as you mention it may end up in the pockets of highly paid executives. I'd certainly give some of the charities I worked for though.

I would definitely not tell any friends that I'd won the lottery. It's something I would probably only tell my mum about, purely because I don't want to find I have more friends or more family because of the money. Likewise I would probably not go overboard spending it either.

The vast majority of people plan to help their family and friends. I would move, but to a house that suited me. What is the point of a vast house that you are not comfortable in? How many cars do you need? I would travel in comfort...I love travel but am a poor traveller which means I only go on journeys of 2-4 hr flights. Money would mean first class with beds and I could go to Australia, New Zealand and South America.

If I won the lottery, a car would be top of the list. Not a Ferrari or anything that the insurance would be sky high (unless I won the Euromillions) but I'm sick of getting public transport everywhere.

I'd enjoy watching my friends slowly figure it out. I'd continue to live pretty much the same way, except for occasionally doing something subtly that makes them wonder "how has he afforded that?". Like perhaps I'd just not work for a year and yet somehow keep buying rounds at the pub and move into a fairly nice flat. They'd probably start theorising that I must be dealing drugs or prostituting myself or something. I'd let my hair and beard grow out of control and try to look as much as possible like a bum who spends every day sitting at home in his pants, but when I go out and socialise I spend like a man with a slightly above average salary for someone my age. They'll go insane trying to figure it out.

The lottery financial advisory team will tell you that the happiest winners are the ones who have given most of their winnings away.

Seems like Jesus was right all along.

That's pretty much my life at the minute.

If it starts bubbling we can just drop a Rennie down there, that'll sort things out

Part of me hopes (when I'm much older) that it does erupt. Selfish I know but I did my degree on stuff like this and I'm really interested in volcanoes. And to witness the eruption of Yellowstone, while thinking **** we've had it now, would be amazing.

Can't you make do with Etna..? Crikey, the ol' boiler obliges every few weeks with a little puff, and a decent eruption every decade or so. Plus, it's much nearer and the weather is nicer, and the food is better, while you're waiting.

Plus, it's very important in the historical sense.
