Can't wait. Love the series. I know I'm late to the party, but have just got into The Wire as well.
I am absolutely sure I would have loved The Wire, but missed it and not interested in joining in now.

He and I have very similar beards now.
I like Russell's writing. Some say he's too verbose but if you know all those words you might as well use them. He makes a good point with them too. Also if they lied about him cheating on his girlfriend, shouldn't he be able to sue for that?

Just spent 7 hours solid in my department building computer labs doing CFD simulations. There are no words to describe how tired I feel right now...

"Earlier this week, we learned that the allegations of child sexual abuse against Ian were true, and that he would not be contesting them in court. Until then, we found them extremely difficult to believe and had hoped it was all a mistake. Sadly, the true extent of his appalling behaviour is now impossible to deny.
Many of you understandably want to know if we knew what Ian was doing. To be clear: We did not. We knew that Ian was a difficult character. Our personal relationships with him had deteriorated in recent years to a point that working together was a constant, miserable challenge. But despite his battles with drugs, his egotistic behaviour, and the resulting fractures and frustrations within our band, we never imagined him capable of behaviour of the type he has now admitted.
We are heartbroken, angry, and disgusted at what has been revealed. This is something that will haunt us for the rest of our lives. Being in a band has always been a labour of love and a platform to inspire people, not to take advantage of them. It's still hard to believe this is happening and that someone we were once so close to has destroyed so many lives, lying every step of the way.
Our hearts go out to Ian's family, the fans and friends he betrayed, and most importantly, the victims of his crimes and others like them. We hope for justice, but also that Ian will truly take responsibility for what he's done. We would urge any other victims to contact the authorities.

Yep he has tainted all of their music as well. Sick ****er has caused so much harm.
Well, I was looking for the conversation about great it was to discuss the merits of Scottish independence whilst eating pizza over a nice scotch. Oh, those are on the main forum today. 
Yeah, my fault. Sorry about that CF. It was taking over the match thread after I made an innocent comment about getting out the Malt. So I suggested we transfer it to here.
I'll put out an all-points PM next time.
He was a passenger in the car ,two dead at the scene.just seen footage of what's left of the Porsche he was in.....bloody hell.
As we are now putting comments on the the wrong threads I would just like to say that I think we will get all three points today and wreck Chelsea's unbeaten home record.
I am a bit worried about the possible absence of Lallana as they may limit our creativity a little.
I was going to go to the pub to watch the match but have discovered the bus service is so poor today that it will make it difficult so it will have to be Radio Solent for me then sat in my armchair by the fire with a mug of tea. Mustn't drink alcohol at home until after 6.00 pm although I have no compunction drinking the stuff in a pub any time of day. Strange attitude!
The very lovely Mrs Godders
came back from town yesterday with a copy of "All the Saints" and I am astonished at the players I had forgotten had played for us and most of them were recent. Is that an age thing as I can name most of our team for games played 40 years ago but struggle with some of the players who were with us under the "Horrible Evil One" and his mate Askham.
