Ghosts and my HDD. My FIFA and extra controller would be here but they're attached to the bundle, and the other games I'm getting (Madden and BF4) aren't out yet.

Comet Ison has brightened in the last few days. Now it's visible in the dawn sky around 7.00am on the eastern horizon as it heads for the Sun. Naked eye jobbie, but I'll be setting up the telescope, if I can get my arse out of bed. Clear skies tomorrow morning in Southampton too.

I imagine Cosplay usually ends up with Chun Li getting plowed.

Played Forza on the Xbox One today, there is a car you can unlock which is the best in the game. The bad thing is you have to pay £32.50 for it......

But not clear enough. Light cloud. To think I set the alarm exceedingly early to find out there was too much of it. The body clock has been thrown a wobbly.

With a bit of luck, it will be doubly spectacular on it's way out. But first it has to survive its perihelion passage.

I'm hoping to take a photo in the next few days. The weather is reasonably clement, but I've never had the patience to be a hugely enthusiastic astronomer. I'm very once-in-a-blue-moon type. :)

Watching tv through the Xbox One doesn't work at all. It's something to do with USA having TV signals at 60hz and Europe having 50hz. My mate is thinking of complaining, would he have a case? They have advertised Xbox TV working here.

Well, there are TV's that will refresh at 60Hz. But if Microsoft are saying that the Xbox works, by default, as a TV conduit in the UK, and yet it is non-adjustable from the 60Hz then they are lying. That's a return-to-shop-and-money-back-thank-you-very-much reason.

Sadly, customers are still not confident of their rights under retail law, and if the shop puts up resistance, then usually a customer will fold. Be aware. This is probably no caveat emptor situation.
