Yep! Portus Adurni - Portchester is the best preserved Saxon Shore fort (chain of fortifications built to control the coastline from The Wash to the Isle of Wight). The curtain wall is still largely Roman (and in bloody good nick). Of course, with the Roman decline, it became part of the Jutish territory of South Hampshire, and then absorbed into the kingdom of the West Seaxe.

That being 1915 explains why Germany and Austria/Hungary are huge!

The Ottoman empire is decapitating itself at Constantinople with a sword made in Germany. Probably the best bit.

By the language, it appears to be made by a Dutch person...like that the Netherlands are smoking a pipe, given what people now associate Holland (and pipes) with.

Richard Chaplow has just tweeted a picture of himself with a quite magnificent moustache. I'm sure someone more technically capable than I (DTLW?) will post it!

Ah yes Portchester Castle, it's in slightly better nick than Nottarf Krap if I remember right.

In the boxing, George Groves has knocked Carl Froch to the floor in the first round. Anyone else following?

Seemed a joke decision. Dear me, Groves was all over him.

I still think Groves would have gone down, but yeah it was stopped too soon.

Desperately bad decision. Not sure what's worse, stopping it too early, or the fact two of the judges only had Groves ahead by 1 point.

Not a fan myself. Was told I had to set one up but dislike using it, don't find it any more satisfying than any other similar networking site.
