IMO, it's a done deal and people are simply humouring the supporters as they always do. Pretending to listen to the earnest concerns of supporters, while tying up the loose ends in secret, is the oldest trick in the book, I'm afraid.
Richard Scudamore on Portsmouth's demise "Every club has to be allowed to speculate and only the directors of clubs can assess, ultimately, the risk they are prepared to take if a Premier League club goes into administration then it can only be down to rank bad management. And I stand by that." Scudamore identified Fulham's success as an example of why club directors and owners should be allowed a large degree of autonomy. "Fulham are a smallish club that has achieved a success beyond anything the Fulham supporters 15 years ago could have imagined. It's unsustainable on its own fan-base and commercial income without that benefactor funding – and I will protect to the nth degree the ability of Mohamed Al Fayed to do what he has done at Fulham." He said that Fulham's recent Europa League triumph over Juventus was "as good as any evening English football has ever had" adding: "That is a product of our English football model and it's not one that you have got with an overly regulated, overly bureaucratic, tight-down, centrist, controlled system." Reckon thats what he'll do with us. Money money money its all the Scudamore is there for
Previous campaigns by our fans against chairmen and the authorities have been successful. We also have help, support and advice from others with experience.
It's one of those words that always looks wrong because most people don't pronounce it as it's spelled ...... or should that be spelt
It possibly looks that way to anyone just glancing in. The reality is the campaign has already had some success. It's also running with a background of previous successes. In any event, it's not in our nature to roll over and be tickled, so doing nothing isn't really an option. That would be the worse thing for the Club and the City in the long run.
You said that it had nothing to do with the FA, I've shown that it has by pointing out the rule. The club's name is Hull City Tigers is in breach of that rule, as I'm sure you'll readily admit. So what are the Premier League and the FA going to do about it? As I've said before I've got no idea, but I think we'll find out sooner rather than later.
in what league .. about what ? ... please remind me ... and hope it equats to £60mill a year please while your at it ... Chazz has it spot on above your post .. we will be the prem leagues new "toy" to try new marketing options
Numerous fan groups, politicians, the FSF. Previous campaigns have been against previous chairmen, some of whom ended up in prison as a consequence. There was also the recent campaign against WYP.
yes the club has been hull city tigers since early this year ... accounts wise .. therefore they are not lying ... you really think that statement was relating to the playing name (in England) .. ? ... my word .. if you are an example of the CTWD group no wonder it has lost .. you are dealing with businessmen and more importantly very clever legal teams behind them before they say a word ... man against mouse I am afraid
Can't you just summarise? It's very easy to be vague and say 'numerous fans groups' and 'support & advice' but, in reality that means little.
He hasn't tied up the loose ends in private. He's put two fingers up to the FA and the Premier League and treated them as if they don't matter. If it was a done, or nearly done, deal he'd have quiet, put his application in and counting the money from a second season in the premier league. If you do know some rich men, how many announce to the world a deal before they have signed all the contracts.
I said similar, something like he was donating three hours of his time in return for the ability to tick that box! It wasn't that difficult to see through the game that he was playing, in saying that all due respect should go to those that got off their arses in an attempt to derail his master plan.
but he hasn't , he has made a statement about the club name (not playing name) .. hull city tigers has been there since march / april last year ... simple confusion tactics ... it seems the only ones its confused are the protest group ... .. job done by the allams in that respect
