If you are let go at the end of a 6 month probation period, does it count as a sacking and will it hurt future employment opportunities? I say this because I've been in the job 4 months and they called me in for a half time review.. I'm doing well in one side of my job, which is the customer care part, but I've made a few too many mistakes in the admin area, and they said they'll be reviewing my progress in the next 4 weeks and want to see improvement. This is kind of depressing like. The mistakes have been trivial, but obviously too many made. I'm stressing out because this is a good job as well. Anyone else been in a similar position? I'm going to double check everything I do thoroughly now, perhaps triple check. It'll make me slower at my tasks but I'm darned if I'm losing a job like this for a few mistakes in data input.
Obi can you get minxy to change me from senior member to fuhrer. Everyone is having it changed these days. I want to be the fuhrer.
As well as triple checking maybe get a workmate to cast an eye also? the fact that they are telling you could be seen as a good thing.
I think it's a secretive mod thing. You need to pm me some naked pictures of Karen Gillan and I'll take up your case.
Well at least you haven't got to the point where you've worked 2 months past the end of your actual contract, and the only indication of whether your staying on or not is that you're on next week's rota... I have targets to hit on ridiculous things, and we get humiliated publicly if we don't hit them. Fortunately the manager is afraid of me and won't dare come and criticize anything I do... I literally saw him come towards the area I was working, stop, look at me, then scurry off in a different direction
