SkySports report suggests Barry got a little touch. Even if he didn't isn't he interfering with play?
As it goes through his legs, touch or not he is interfering, therefore it was offside no matter what.
Think we've shown the rest of the league how to tackle Lukaku. He has destroyed defenders at will this season. He looked sheepish when taken off.
Gareth Barry has the biggest and fattist arse in the PL and he is ****e - god knows how he's played that many games for England - thought City were excellent today and should have got something against these win at all cost scousers..
Have to disagree he did exactly what i want my CM to do. Nobbled DG and nobbled Aluko and numerous other sly fouls. We lost this game in the centre of midfield. FACT
We played well but Everton aee better than us and showed it over the game. We didn't attack well enough or for long enough at a time. Though that bloody ref didn't help: the last 10 minutes was just constant free kicka against us, some of them I had genuinely no idea what for or even who the perpetrator was. We played 3 and a half minutes of the 'minimum 4' stated and most of that was just free kicks anyway.
Lets be honest Everton deserved that, we didn't get to grips with them. We played well when we challenged Barry and didn't allow them to pass it out to him, yet for the whole of the second half we just let them pass it out. I fancy us to get something from them at the KC. Yet they clearly deserved it today, they created some cracking chances. However if Faye and Aluko bagged one of their chances in first half could of been very different. Tough game, could of got something if the Ref was on our side more, but he wasn't. Move on and get something from Spurs!
James McCarthey looks a great player for them. He stood out more than Barry did. I also think it was a game too early for Brady. Boyd needs a start too, maybe rest Aluko for a game
Everton fans have been complimentary about both our team and our fans. Many have specifically mentioned Davies as being the best player on the pitch... Can anyone find odds on players in the WC squad
Hi people ! Everton fan here ! Thought Hull played really well reminded me of us under moyes pressed us well high up the pitch ! and seemed to have played well every game I've seen you ! I was worried at every corner and dont know how you didnt score from one! Think ya being a bit harsh on Barry though ? the first one I think he was just trying to get his leg this to guard the ball rather than a kick out at your lad ? and the 2nd he go the ball top side and his foot ran over it due to his momentum and bounced up into the shin of your player ! not really worthy of red cards ? yours was deffo a red though...........only kidding, again thought he went for the ball ! I dont like seeing reds unless there's intent ! deffo offside for our 1st whether barry touched it or not ! a little bit of good fortune came our way. Hope you get some against our neighbours ! Davies was mom and showing some of his early carreer promise though I wouldnt hold my breathe of him getting an england chance the way the squads picked ! :-( Think that caulker looked good for cardiff when Ive seen him too but cant see him getting picked either. Though Mccarthy was our best player even though sky website gave him 5/10 ! didnt think any of our lads played to their usual standard but you could also say that was down to hull. good luck for the season dont know where your aiming for but keep playing like that and no way will you get relegated
Can't believe anybody this day and age would find that funny let alone a serious website would allow the comment to stay up. As for the football, I thought we did pretty well versus a good Everton team. Stayed up to watch the MOTD analysis of us, waste of time that was, there was none. Hope they bin Shearer for the World Cup, I didn't like his analysis either of Suarez going down at the slightest touch and looking for pens and free-kicks as 'world class forward play' for me that is cheating.
