I don't think Barry is a malicious player and both tackles were reckless rather than malicious.

Thought it was a bit embarrassing when he claimed he didn't know whether or not he touched it when interviewed, after clearly claiming the touch during the game.

On MOTD on Sat night, they basically made Barry look like a cheating ****, their whole 'analysis' based on his porkies (showing him giggling naughtily) after he deflected it in from an offside position, and his two two crude lunges. In other words, they spotlighted him and not in a good way.

We have to be less naive and trusting of officials, established clubs and players at this levels constantly pressure the officials (Baines when Barry got booked) as do the crowd.

This goes on at all levels but you need all the help you can get when you are in our situation and up against 'experienced' players.

We need to whinge less and adapt to the surroundings.
