If and only if Kenny has targetted Nzogbia.I reckon that for the other side that he's after a lung buster aka a touch-line hugger thats why the likes of Adam Johnson,Jeffren have been bandied about as potential targets.Kenny wants both sides to compliment each other. He also wants widemen to compliment what he already has in attack.Players that will interchange with Suarez and also bring the best out of Andy Carroll.
Would LOVE Johnson to sign for us. But unfortunately I doubt that will happen as City wouldn't want to sell to their direct competitors and they're not exactly cash strapped.
He himself could force a move due to Mancini's insistence on playing 3 central midfielders and also being played out of position to accomodate Milner.
Johnson wont be at Liverpool next season, but possibly gaining Henderson, Adam?, N'Zogbia, Jeffren, Bojan?, Dann/Jones and Wickham?, we could really strengthen the squad to help us push on for a top four spot... Or dare we dream of a title push? Hopefully next season will be a good un!!!
apparently henderson is having a medical tomorrow (or later today whatever you may class it) and n'gog will go the other way £16m + Ngog http://www.clickliverpool.com/sport...ee-deal-for-sunderlands-jordan-henderson.html
It does on SSN website "It is understood that the deal that has been agreed is worth £20million and it will include David N'Gog moving in the opposite direction, subject to him agreeing terms on Wearside." It's worth 20 mill with Ngog valued at 7
First real transfer of the summer then Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Sunderland midfielder Jordan Henderson. The 20-year-old will today discuss personal terms and undergo a medical on Merseyside after a fee was agreed between the two clubs.
Now this came out of the blue in the last couple of days. After all the midfielders that Liverpool have been linked with...This is surprising. Then again Kenny and DC said they had a list of players that they were narrowing down as potential targets and nobody knew who was on that list except them.
Now I hear on the radio that Henderson will have his medical today but there is no mention of N'Gog travelling to Sunderland. Can anybody confirm that he is? I don't know much about Henderson so I can't really comment. A club like Sunderland could be good for N'Gog who's opportunities at Anfield will be limited at best. So I wish him luck. My only regret is that we had to deal with an idiot like Bruce
Apparently N'Zogbia is holding out for a move back to Newcastle instead of us! Shocking really, he always said he wanted to play for a top club!
Perhaps he just wants a guaranteed chance of starting, because he'd probably end up being the best player on their team as well.
To me, this just seems like paper talk and it wont happen, especially with Martinez saying they'd only let him go to a top club, which is in the champions league. (I would class us in that category cause we're gonna finish in the top four this season! )
