Like I said it is always Gerrard - although tonight he has played well; the media love him.

Have to say they played quite well for the first hour but I expect Ukraine to be gleefully looking at our defence. Feel a bit sorry for Welbeck. Rickie will be knackered for West Ham.

Welbeck's costly yellow was ridiculous, and we could have scored one or two more, but otherwise a pretty satisfactory outcome, albeit against a very poor side.
