For the record I am a big fan of Barkley, but think he hasn't had enough prem experience to play for England.
 
Walker is shocking. Johnson isn't much better. If Clyne is fit, he should surely be getting into this squad.
 
As much as I love Lambert this is the most boring 4-0 game I have ever seen.

At least now Rickie is leaving I can turn it off.

Might be trickier than for many youngsters simply because Cole is unlikely to miss many with those sudden-onset knocks that crop up for big-team players, given that he's chasing down the record.

Does this mean Lambo is going to play on Tuesday? I assumed he would get 90 tonight and then nothing against Ukraine.

Funny that 10-15 years ago we had no left backs at all and now it's arguably our strongest position.
