Yes, I remember him saying it. He's totally wrong as usual but on the surface (which is as far as Clarkson ever delves) it might seem true. My cousin thinks Italian males and Italy are awful. To him, as a race, there are none more shallow, superficial, argumentative, cunning, deceitful, dishonest, vain, holier-than-thou and perverted than the Italian male. And he thinks Italy is too hot. Which comes on a bit harsh when you consider that like me, he is half Italian too. I know what he means. When Italian males are bad they are very bad, mainly because they have been brought up with the millstone of Catholicism around their necks and often backed up by extreme poverty, believe it or not. That's enough to make anyone feel undermined, defensive and bitter. Sadly, my cousin Ricardo (love that name) says that's no excuse.
