The symantics matter little, those 4 players played for us last season. They will not be playing for us this season. We have had all summer to replace them with better players. In my opinion we have not done that.

I got your point Lostinvegas, but equally it could be said that Altidore is a replacement for Sessegnon. We couldn't do anything about Mignolet, he was for me the best keeper in the league last season and was always going to move on to bigger things. Rose simply wasn't our player anyhow, once again even though its a problem of our own making there's not much PDC could do about it.

Ander Herrera's stats are 1 goals and 2 assists...not much better but United apparently prepared to offer 25 million. As it happens, don't like the look of that Herrera

I get your point but half of what you said was not factual, story of the day on here.
Didn't know you were keeping score on your kudos like, just checked back and it's 2-3 against you on your replacement theory.
this would cheer me up lots as it would be a genuine quality Sess replacement.

If they're spanish and play short passes everyone thinks they're brilliant. I'm afraid Iniesta, Isco, Xavi and the other top spanish players are so, so much more than a few short passes. This Herrera looks very limited to me, but i've seen very little and stand to be proven wrong

Rose replacement is Colback. Sess replacement is Altidore. N'Daiye replacement is Cabral? and Migs replacement is Westwood. We've also added Giaccherini and Celstka which have improved the first 11, possibly one of the new centre backs have improved us too.
