The more you look at our signings, it quantity over quality. Even Ki's stats are ****e, 0 goals and 1 assist for Swansea, is he really the man to un-lock defenses?
Flare players don't win games mate. They look good when they decide to cock their legs about. I'd rather have a team playing well as a unit than setting up a team around an inconsistent flair player time and time again.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck! 15 minutes ago @sunechograeme Hearing Sess is at WBA training ground. In which case, deal looks pretty sure to go through S'land fans reaction will be interesting. ‪#‎safc‬
Much like Huddlestone's stats plus the fact that he's managed 10 games a season over the last 3 years.
Case Siqueira: Siqueira had today three bids, one of Sunderland, one of Benfica and one Valencia. Case Siqueira: There are 2 offers more for him but Siqueira does not see with good eyes to those teams. Increase the options that stay in Granada
True but Huddlestone and Ki are not there to create goal scoring chance are they, more about spreading passes I suppose. Our formation is reliant on Giac & Johnson assisting the strikers, nullify those two and we are royally ****ed.
I maybe able to accept sess going to wba if we got him, i know he's a lb and all that but the sess deal is really boiling my water
7 minutes ago @SunSportNow Graeme Bryce reports West Brom are closing in on £5.5m target Stephane Sessegnon. Sunderland ace spotted at Albion’s training ground ‪#‎wbafc‬
Thats pretty much that then, We can still turn this int a positive window, C'mon Di Fanti get Sigurdsson as Sess's replacement!!
SUNDERLAND are haggling over a fee with West Brom for forward Stephane Sessegnon. The two clubs are in discussions over the Benin international, who was left out of the Sunderland squad for last weekend’s 3-1 defeat at Crystal Palace. Sunderland are looking for in excess of £5million for Sessegnon, who was charged with drink-driving in Newcastle last week, as the Black Cats were progressing in the Capital One Cup. There was interest in Sessegnon from Qatari side El Jaish last month, but as the Echo reported today, that didn’t result in a concrete offer from the Middle East. But West Brom, who like Sunderland have taken a solitary point from their opening three Premier League games, have now stepped up their interest in the 29-year-old. The Baggies would still have to agree personal terms with Sessegnon though and that could be a potential hurdle, with the former Paris St-Germain man one of Sunderland’s top earners. http://m.sunderlandecho.com/sport/s...th-west-brom-over-fee-for-sessegnon-1-6005898
question : anyone know if the Sky Transfer coverage correspondents have a camera at the SOL ? ...haven't seen any clips of us as yet on tv yet (though I'm only looking in occasionally ) noticed camera s are at QPR though ffs ...s'pose it's the Redknapp's ' wheeler dealer- mover n shaker' appeal
Lads that's it See will go the West Brom. We will get Borini and this LB from Napoli and that will be it. Don't get your hopes up as that will be that mark my words. I am very disappointed. PDC is going to have to work wonders. If were in the bottom 3 by mid December he will get the sack and then I can see us getting someone terrible just like the Howard Wilkinson appointment. I will support the club but I see trouble ahead. Gone: Rose, Sess, N'Daiye, Migg, (4 of our 5 best players last season). Replaced with: Dossena, Borini, Cabral, Manone. To me that is not replacing what we had with better. Its very worrying.
If we are that desperate to sell him, which we must be as we are taking a massive risk selling him to WBA then we must have a special player lined up to use the money to purchase, surely? Please god.
Echo your sentiments mate but to be fair, Rose was never ours and Alfie is still our player. I honestly hope he does well with what we've got but if he isn't getting the results, I hope we don't wait till December. If he's not performing the miracles he's promised us he needs to go sooner rather than later.
OK, Westwood replaced mig as number one. Manone replaced Westwood as back up. Dossena isn't replacing anyone, we don't own a LB. Cabral was at the club when Alfie was. Finally Borini is a pacy strong out and out striker and Sess was an AM/Winger. Completely different payers in different positions.
