You can bet it'll be the same people struggling who complain about the queues in Tesco and Asda making them take ages to get served as well.
I've never had a problem with it myself but it clearly doesn't work sometimes. If it was just generally stupid people it wouldn't be just one particular turnstile which generates a queue. You're scanning a barcode, it should be easy but sometimes they're ****. For example, has anyone ever successfully managed to scan their clubcard at the petrol pump at Tesco St. Stephens? I'm fairly certain there isn't even a scanner in there, it's just to wind people up.
They're in front of the North, East and South stands this season, but I don't think they go in front of the West, as no camera's face them(at least they didn't previously).
I don't understand why we took them down last time? Are they expensive to keep running? Or is it more to do with getting good companies to advertise with us? Does it make a difference to bringing in revenue or is it more to do with making the stadium look better?
Those advertising boards almost make you spaz out when you watch a slow motion replay though. I don't see why they're so popular, to be honest
The must cost a bit to hire and power. No point of your revenue isn't up to it. With tv exposure the advertising revenue is now higher so maybe it is just easier to cover the rental. I am guessing the club pay that, and offset it in billboard cost increases?
The last set of boards weren't ours. A specialist company installed the equipment and sold all the advertising, we just got a commission for allowing them to be there.
Did anybody get anything from the "new concourse?" Prices different? Anything different for sale to buy? Also anybody visit either of the pre/post match areas in the East and South stands?
Big screen being put up over the international break. Wifi worked for me but not for the people around me?
