I have loved that man for years on end now. The story of Joe Kinnear and Sunderland fans is like 'Love in the time of Cholera' or something. Poor hygiene and disease according to you lot along with a life spanning love.
Just curious, but wtf put this on the Mackem board. All they are going to do is pull the p*** out of us.
The MOD avatar? Was down Carnaby Street a few weeks back and rekindled a few memories. If your into music, call into the Music Board, the only ones from the SAFC and NUFC boards normally there are Bri Funky and myself with lads from GC. Think of it as Neutral Territory. Some good threads going.
Will get involved chief. Carnaby street just isn't what it used to be from what I hear which makes me a bit sad I've missed it. Even Sherrys has moved recently. You can still get a sense of it I guess but beyond that there's little there.
They try their best to sell the place on its heritage, maybe we were lucky, there was a music festival on that weekend. Bloody Hot couple of days and able to sit outside pubs helped as well during the day. Couple of decent shops like Face and Lambetta but otherwise what you would see up here.
Hahahaha mate. I was about for that so it wouldn't surprise me if we were within metres of each other! The Face and Lambretta are decent. Sherry's isn't too far away but it's lost a bit of it's authenticity for me. Do like the Pretty Green shop down there but that's a chain of course.
I'm sorry but who on gods earth puts a set of gates in front of a wall? please log in to view this image
They should reposition them next to the tyne so the mags have something to walk through when they feel suicidal.
Don't you understand? A messiah will be able to lead the faithful through those gates and into the promised land (parting the wall like the red sea). JFK's idea, and in 10 years time he will tell the world's press that he achieved this miracle.
