Sorry marra, i just thought that as we are getting new weekly take the piss threads (wholy justified) it might be worth keeping them in one place.

Why merge them?

Some are amusing some are pure ****. (Waves at Tash!)

I want to be able to go back to threads and either read or comment, if you merge multiple threads I have to read **** I would have avoided if it was in its own thread.

This isn't the way forward the Nags board is **** run by little ****ing hitlers if you want to read **** go there.

I don't want anyone whoever it is deciding ,what is and isn't worthy of having its own thread.
Where does it stop?

Or worse still because they disagree with something someone has said burying it elsewhere.
I had enough **** off the moderators of the old 606 where if I posted anything detrimental about the scum, even none abusive it was instantly deleted.

This place was like a breath of fresh air, you want to turn it into the old 606 or worse still like the scums board then in the words of the mighty Bannatyne "I'm oot!"

Not having a go bonny lad, just hate what the mags do.

Self moderation is always the way to go.

IMHO the only threads that should be merged are ones where it is a duplicate about a news item or player or incident. Then the first poster gets to have the thread head.
Or a poster may ask for threads to be merged.

Doing it any other way leads to what I was doing and having to trawl back through my posts to find a thread, rather than just clicking on it. If I hadn't posted and just wanted to keep reading the thread I would have been ****ed.

PS. its not as if there are thousands of threads a day.
