We made an offer £20mil above his proper price, and Newcastle weren't selling to a direct rival.

If City came in with an offer of £70mil, we'd probably accept. 1. It's much higher than the price he's worth £50mil (and I use worth in terms of stupid football prices) and 2, they aren't a rival for 4th as they're miles ahead of us atm in terms of league position.

That post is illogical. You can't "****" around with logic. You either apply it or ignore it. Logic in its very meaning can't be "****ed" with, twisted or manipulated for ones own purpose.

Stay on the foundation-less statements you're on more solid ground there.
