I also am reassuring myself with the fact that Arsene Wenger knows more about footballers than I do and we need squad players.

Beyond that, I have nothing to say about this transfer while we await official confirmation. Or not.

It’s worth bearing in mind that journalist’s with a far more well-known profile have got things spectacularly wrong this summer so his ‘known’ status is no indicator of if he is telling the truth or not.
